Pours dark brown with a thick off-white head. Aroma is sweet malty with a bit of nut. Flavor is more sweet malt with chocolate finish. Lacks some of that roasty flavor I like in a porter but still nice and drinkable.

Jan 6, 2009 Eh, this didn’t thrill me at all. Somewhat thin on flavor, a bit too dry and bitter for my taste in a porter, and just overall bland. Decent beer, but there are many that are far better for the style.

Jan 4, 2009 Bottle. Pours a black color with a bit of spunk. Aromas of chocolate, coffee, and toffee/ Texture of lively game, coffee, and toffee. Good bear overall and i would recommend.

Dec 31, 2008 Bottle. Poured dark brown with a beige head and plenty lacing. Aroma of nice big roasted malt, chocolate, coffee. Taste is very roasted as well. Mouth is on the full side, creamy, nice. Finish is lightly bitter. Very solid 5.6% porter. Another nice effort from Bells.

Dec 24, 2008 Dark brown with reddish glimts. Sweet aroma with plenty of roasted malt, chocolate and caramel. Sweet flavour with roasted malt, chocolate and coffee notes.
