3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 GTown (126) - New York, USA - JAN 5, 2007
Pours bright red with small white head that quickly disapates. Minimal lacing. Aroma is fresh rasberries (at least I have to assume fresh as it rates as the most expensive draught at Eccentric/$5.25 for a 20 oz.). Flavor is too one dimensional. One was more than enough.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Styles (2014) - Lincoln Park, Michigan, USA - JAN 3, 2007
Draft E-Day 05’. Brilliant red in color, minimal pinkish/white head. Decent raspberry aroma, seems extract like in a way though, kool aid? Flavor is all watered down raspberries. Easy drink, just really nothing going on though.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 ryan (3187) - Beltsville, Maryland, USA - AUG 25, 2006
Draft @ Maduro, GTMW pre-party. Slight haze, ruby body with pink head. The aroma is loaded with fresh, ripe raspberries. The flavor is mildly sweet and one-dimensionaly raspberries. Thin, slightly watery texture with a bit of seedy bitterness.
3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 StewardofGondor (1934) - Washington Heights - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 3, 2006
On tap at the Eccentric Cafe. Opulent safire / red in color and semi-translucent with no head, save a tiny grey rung at the rim of the goblet. Aroma expunges sweet fruit libation - red raspberries, red currant and boysenberry syrup. Tart red raspberries and a cardboard box undercurrent maintain the flavor. A touch thin and separated, but frozen raspberries are the leading ladies. Mild touch of juicy pomegranate kernels. Airy freesia suggestions help to lightly titillate the palate, along with modest effervescence. Finishes with rose blossoms, raspberry seeds and dewed cotton. My wife f’in loved it.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Silphium (2976) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - NOV 20, 2005
On tap at Bells (Eccentric Cafe). Red body, thin off-white head. Light aroma of raspberry syrup, the subtlety likely due to the cold temperature this was served at. Raspberry syrup flavor, sweet but not overtly so, and a bit tart, with light bready malts and earthy hops becoming especially apparent in the aftertaste. Medium-bodied. A better-than-average Raspberry Ale though nothing unique.
