On tap @ the brewpub. Looks like cranberry juice, a pink-ish red color. Taste is very tart, sour raspberry. By no means poorly done, just not really my style.

~5oz pour on tap at Maduro during GTMW. Mostly clear raspberry red color. Thin ring of off-white head, slightly pinkish. Leaves decent loose ridges of lace. Awesome bigger tart raspberry taste, nice big raspberry aroma, lightly spicy in a raspberry way, slightly woody. Medium plus body. Kind of slick. Good long tart cherry aftertaste to savor. Awesome stuff.

Sample pour at the Great Taste of the Midwest. Clear red pour with a nice head. Huge raspberry nose. Nice tartness, some earthiness as well. Raspberry in spades.

On draft at Stone House Inn. Poured a deep ruby with just a skim of head. Not very lively. Flavor is of funky, sour raspberry that finished a bit tart. Interesting and refreshing.

At the Barrel thing. Pours a deep violet with a pink head and a fair lacing. Nose involves some prominent wild berries and horseblanket, underlying root beer, sourdough, oak, zesty spice, and light pine. Somewhat sweet, waaay tart, lightly bitter. Medium bodied, fairly active, with a big jowl pucker factor and a long, tangy dusty tart hay finish. Really intense brew, definitely worth trying, and absolutely worth trying again. Nice brew.

UPDATED: APR 8, 2014 Tap: Copper with some crimson hints, hazy and topped with a barely pink-tinted foam that quickly settles to a collar. Aroma is full of tart raspberry juice, slight vinegar notes, mild vinous oakiness... Generally sour aroma, full of fruit and juiciness. Taste is loaded with raspberry juice and jam-like notes of sweetness with an underlying tartness; not quite "sour" but still fairly tart. Juicy, and it grows more tart in the finish. Some red grape skin, vinous notes, plenty of finishing oak; dry tannic finish. Very good stuff here, though I may like the regular Wild One better.

Pailhead (4820) - Brownstown, Michigan, USA - OCT 6, 2013
On tap: The aroma consists of moderate raspberry, lemon, light citrus, and faint oak. It?s a transparent ruby red with a small pinkish off-white head. The flavor starts with a moderate sweet and tart raspberry. The finish has moderate-heavy lemon, oak, and a touch of vanilla. It’s medium bodied with mild carbonation and a somewhat soft mouthfeel.

Tap at FWIBF. Pours with a clear red hued body with a small white head. Aromas are tart and funky with a lot of raspberry. Slightly intense funky phenolics with notes of manure. Flavors are tart, funky, lots of fruit and a decent acidity. Much cleaner funk than on the nose. Lively, tart, and puckering finish.

6oz halfie tulip pour at pre GTMW 2012. Ruby red-brown, glass rimming head. There is a big, pronounced raspberry flavor, but not overly impressive at the price point. Some nice incorporated tartness. Tangy lasting finish. Pretty nice..grows on you.

Pours amber stripped with dark cherry hue and deep pinkish beige head. Aroma is wild yeast and sweet berries, yeast dominant. Berries bring more tart on flavor settling smoothly though, no pucker for light Brett, but not much funk.
