COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An abundance of rye grains provide a spicy twist to otherwise traditional stout flavors. A unique approach to an entirely new style of stout.

Another thin, headless and surprisingly flavorful beer from Bell’s. Strong notes of coffee in the finish, moderate bitterness and quite smooth. Would like it a little thicker though.

Bottled. Dark color, short head. Aroma of rye, roasted malt, hint of coffee. Taste is bit bitter, melon, fruity, roasted malt. Nice stuff.

Light roasted nose, opaque brown color, low foamy head. Chocolate malt, wheat in the middle, sherry flavors too. Light coffee end. Thinish. Very nice balance and different overall.

Pours a jet black color with a small amount of foamy tan head. Aroma is sweet molases, roasted barley, brown sugared fruit. Flavor is pretty light for the abv, creamy smooth sweet caramel mocha. Overall, i liked.

Dark dark, with a glint of ruby at the bottom when held up. Nice tan lacing head. Smells of toasted coffee and malt. This brewery knows how to do stout very well - this version nicely blends in rye to create a very interesting dark, sweet complex brew. Excellent balance and finish.

Nice black pour, minimal head. Good chocolate coffee aroma and flavor, with a bit of a bitter catch. Warm and toasty.

Bottled. Tnx Bullit. The aroma has bread/rye, coffee, roast. Black coloured beer with a thin, off-white lace. The taste is sweet, has rye, roast, coffee, some chocolate. Medium bodied. Quite good.
