3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle @ home via trade with jcnielsen. Thanks Jetson! Pours a gorgeous, clean, clear golden appearance with a very nice cream colored head. Quite spicy, herbal, resiny hoppy, spicy rye, toasted malty aroma. Rough mouthfeel. Earthy, chewy rye, grainy, caramel, spicy piney, light citrusy hoppy flavor. Pretty good but I think my expectations were a bit too high.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tap @ 821. Straw with decent white head and light lacing. I get a little bit of floral and pen ink on the nose. Tastes grainy and cereally a touch of sour. (Probably shouldn’t have had this after an IPA.)

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Rated this based on bottles only and was not too happy with it. It did taste like a pale ale, but nothing compared to other beers of its class. The aroma and taste was overpowered by resin with no citrus tones to cut it.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle. Pours golden with an extreme concentration of medium debris and a white head. Herbal grassy aroma with pale malts. Floral, herbal, grassy hops blend with toasty biscuit. It’s a solid beer here.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Interesting aroma of spicy rye, and earthy hops. Pours a hazy straw, with a full white head. Nice bitter flavor, with strong rye notes, and a lingering bitter finish. There is a touch of astringency in the beer, which dries out the palate. Overall, a good Rye Pale Ale.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a cloudy golden with some sediment and a big thick white head. Aroma is rye grain and citrus hops. Taste is sweet pale malt and rye bisquits, along with moderate hop bitterness that lacks the citrus character of the aroma. Overall pretty good.

4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle. Pours a cloudy golden color with a moderate white head. Nose has a bit of a bite to it, with a lot of citrus hops notes belying a bitter taste. Taste actually isn’t as bitter as the nose would imply, but has some great light citrusy hoppy tastes. Great brew.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Medium to pale clear straw yellow pour with a few inches of white head. Very sweet lemon citrus scent, a little honey or hibiscus. Medium mouth feel and average carbonation. Sweetness and bitter flavor hit at almost the same time. Citrus hop with bitter rye taste. Pretty dry finish with some of that bitter honey taste. This is a great addition to bells repertoire.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
355mL thanks to craftycarl21. Clear amber pour with loads of yeast particulate. Strange for Bells. Buttermilk, thick head. Nose is tannic tea leaf, lemon tea, biscuit. Taste is tea leaf tannic, biscuit, rustic malt, spicy rye. Denser palate. Okay, not something I would go out of my way for.
