3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Poured a clear yellow color with a pretty large foamy white head. Aroma was citrus notes, rye was definitely in there, some funky notes. Flavor was okay, a bit funk notes, with some rye. This was pretty good, but not nearly as good as many of the other seasonal brews that they do (see: Oberon).

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a nice yellowish gold color. Fruity and a slight sweet flavor that quickly gives way to a bitter dry finish.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Golden honey in colour. Bunch of sediment. Grainy notes, some honey liqour. Slight sweet tip leaping into a dry-grain and bitter finish. Decent but not my favorite Bellís.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a murky golden color with lots of little floaters and a small foamy yellow-white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was tangy and a bit skunky with faint golden fruits. The flavor was dry, astringent and very bitter with a chalky presence and touches of pepper and golden fruits. Medium length dry finish of chalk and fruit. Medium body. Eh.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Clear yellow, golden color (when you leave behind the huge amount of yeast and sediment) with a frothy white head that cakes the glass with lace. Big citrus and floral aroma with some spice. Light bodied, heavily carbonated and a lasting finished. Drinks pretty dry with lotís of rye malt character which overshadows hop flavor. This is a strange brew not my favorite from Bellís or of rye beers.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pourer from a bottle at Five Star. Orange yellow pour with a ton of sediment and floaties. Crisp sharp bitter citrus taste. Interesting beer. The bitterness might be too much but still enjoyed

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very flavorful and complex for a pale ale - the rye really adds to the flavor. roasty, some orange, full-bodied, some cereal and could use more hops, but otherwise a very nice offering from Bells.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Well its the first day of spring so even though its 25 degrees and lightly snowing in Detroit this still seems appropriate. Pours a lazy golden with thin head. Nose of light spices and honey. tastes bitter of orange citrus, juicy fruit gum, grains, white pepper, light toffee. odd but interesting spring seasonal

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Appearance: Pours a cloudy dull amber gold. Thin white cap that leaves good lacing.
Aroma: Citrus and sweet grain notes.
Taste: Spicy and citrusy hops out of the gate, apricot, dry spicy malt. Lingering bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Full bodied, rough peppery carbonation.
Overall: A super tasty, hoppy pale ale, with uniqueness that separates it from the usual spring time drinking offerings.
