3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
4oz draft sample - Aroma is mild and malty. Flavor is chewy rye, pale malts, straw and a touch of hops. Palate is chewy and clean. Tasty but not flavorful enough for me.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at Maduro’s. Pours to a hazy golden body with a frothy white head. Hoppy rye bread with almost a hefeweizen yeast profile but w/o the cloves. A good beer but doesn’t hold up to the heavier sessions.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the eccentric cafe. Almost clear golden with small white head. Really malty and spicey aroma with rich malt. Flavor is spicey, off-dry malt, nice bitterness and hop presence in general. Medium creamy. Really nice and rich and dry at the same time.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: FEB 15, 2013 Rerate from Bottle and served in Bells Tulip : Golden hue but lots of floaties which was unexpected. The aroma has notes of grapefruit, resiny and herbal hops esters along with some rye bread and biscuit. The taste is moderately juicy, faintly dank ad finishes with lots of rye notes. This is so much better than I remembered. (7/2/7/4/14)
Initial Rating: Tap at Eccentric: Clean golden hue with a small fading head and minimal lace. The aroma have a light rye bread vapour, grassy hops, and a touch of honey. The taste is rather bland, mild sweet malts and honey with a quick dash of rye twang. The finish does support some herbal and grassy hops. The mouth feel is lively and crisp, refreshing but tad thin. Okay summer brew. (6/3/5/4/12)

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Eccentric Cafe. Poured clear, bright golden with a short cap of white head. The aroma picked up pale and bready malts on the crisp fore with dry rye spicage accenting.. soft overall and well-balanced. The flavor had a bready base that supported grassy and very light citrus bitterness.. spicy rye really picked up on the back-end. Crisp and refreshing on the palate with fine usage of the rye.. lighter-bodied.. well-done!

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at Eccentric Cafe. Not an IPA and not an APA. What is it then? Specialty grain is like saying "Other." Pours a golden clear light. Flavor is full of grassy hoppage, and ends on a dry finish.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at Eccentric Cafe.
Poured clear copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate citrus, rye and wheat aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration.
The beer is a good drinkable brew.
