Bottle. Pours a cloudy golden color with a moderate white head. Nose has a bit of a bite to it, with a lot of citrus hops notes belying a bitter taste. Taste actually isn’t as bitter as the nose would imply, but has some great light citrusy hoppy tastes. Great brew.
4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 KegOstertag (75) - - MAR 14, 2013
UPDATED: APR 25, 2013 Drank in tulip glass poured from 12oz bottle. Aroma- mix between citrus, hops, and rose petals. Glorious. Appearance- beautiful golden orange color. Taste- ahhhh. Heavenly. So smooth yet so much flavor. Very very drinkable. Citrus with a bit of hops. Palate- similiar to taste but the hops come out more here. Overall- brilliant. My favorite spring/summer weather beer ever. I could drink these all day. May not be the biggest or boldest beer ive had but it still remains among my favorites of all time
4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 carlb (77) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - FEB 12, 2013
Pours a brilliant golden-tan with a significant amount of minuscule flocculates - almost hazy. Produces a creamy, thick, 2 inch off-white head. Poured a second carefully and "candled" - stopped pouring when the flocculates reached the neck. The ale does have a slight haze! Beautiful, fresh citrus and hoppy nose. Bright, clean, spicy palate that lingers. Totally moreish. Perceptively sessionable, although the 6% ABV may be a concern. Develops a very nice Belgian lace. Forward bitter notes with lingering malt and woody-earthy notes! Poured a third . . .

know my rating is high but not over hyping it at all.pours a golden straw yellow with a nice head.love the sediment floating in my glass.beautiful looking beer with nice lacing on my glass.aroma is hoppy citrus, grapefruit and cereal.flavor is wonderful, balanced with the rye and hops.medium bodied, medium carbonation and a dry finish.bells i take my hate off to you on this one.please consider making this a summer beer because i know i would love a couple of these on a hot day at the lake.think this is more of an i.p.a but a lot of people who are not familiar with the style this would be a perfect beer to get you to start enjoying the style.

750mL Bottle. Thanks Sean! I found this to be fantastic. It was the most delicate, subtle nuanced beer of the evening and one of the few that I said, "of all the beers I’ve had tonight, this is one of the few that I really crave to have again." Spicy, fresh, and with a load of pale malt complexity. This really sings of spring earth. There’s a real farm quality to this. Growing grasses, early fall, and ripeness. I just love the grain complexity and the subtle off-play of hops. Very, very nice.

Beautiful orangey golden color with a galaxy of floaties orbiting about the glass. Nice citrus bitterness as advertised and a clean, dry finish with just the right bite. I could imagine having several of these on a warm day.
