Enjoyed on tap at the Eccentric Cafe. Unfiltered look, Caesar head. Carbonation is right there. Some sourness. Not so drinkable.

On tap at the Eccentric Cafe. Poured a dark reddish brown with an off-white head. Aroma was sweet and smokey, kind of reminded me of a campfire. Flavor is smokey and becomes a little overwhelming by the end of the pint.

On tap at the eccentric cafe. Almost clear dark amber with creamy off-white head. Aroma is light but noticable smokey quality, well balanced with malt and light spicieness. Flavor is nice, not overpowering smoke with off-dry dough and spiciness as well as a slight acidity that could possibley be coming from the smoke. Medium, creamy body. A nice, sessionable smoked beer, not always the easiest thing to pull off.

At Eccentric cafe: Deep golden amber hue with a okay frothy head and minimal lace. The aroma has notes of light smoked wood, slight rye and bready malts with some faint apple esters. This has simple ale flavors with just a touch of smoked wood and almost no sign of rye. A hint of hop spice towards the finish. The mouth feel is lively and refreshing, clean and easy to drink. Expected much more from the name but it is drinkable.

On tap at the Eccentric Cafe 7/17/09. Pours a cloudy hazy amber, with not much head.Smells lightly of spice and ash. Taste is of coriander, some wood, and grain. Uneventful yet somewhat pleasant to drink. Slick mouthfeel with good carbonation.
