I donít know what the design on the label is ...looks like a neuron ?
But what I enjoy about, or say intrigued about this beer is the finish. Itís like a Tootsie Roll or butterscotch candy stick, but not overwhelmingly so (perhaps it would be a good pairing). fuzzy mouthfeel, mildly sweet and dry, aroma of burnt sugar, molasses, Sherlock Holmes. Appearance brown/black, cloudy, frothy, tan head finger high, dissipates after a minute, a bit trasparent on the sip, not a heavy fuel, yum

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours almost totally black, just a hint of red around the edges, and a foamy light brown head. Lots of sweet toffee on the nose, nice caramel notes, very light vanilla bean flavor, milk chocolate, and slightly nutty smelling. Very nice light and creamy milk chocolate taste, very subtle coffee note, toasted malt, caramel, and sweet lactose. Tasty and sweet. Very much a desert beer.

4.1 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours dark brown w/ aromas of caramel, vanilla chocolate and slight hints of almond. Extremely creamy start with taste of milk coffee and hazelnut. Great standalone beer or would pair well with bbq or a great porterhouse

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours deep coffee brown with little head. A rich, sweet malt dominates the aroma. The flavor is smooth and sweet. A little hop tingle in the finish. I donít know how "special" this stout is, but itís pretty darn good.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at Khyber Pass. Black pour that faintly showed as clear ruby under bright light. Frothy tan head. Aroma is pretty blank (when cold at least) but the flavors are nice. Milk chocolate covered liquors. Deep dark fruits (raisins, figs, prunes) are blunted a bit by the creaminess, but still a positive end result. Very nice actually.
