12oz bottle from Tasty Beverage in Raleigh. Black hue, zero visibility with fully diminishing dark brown head. No lacing. Dark chocolate, dark fruit, mild alcohol aromas. Moderate bitter coffee up front with a dark malt and coffee finish. Creamy texture on palate.

Poured from a bottle, deep black in color, thin tan disappearing head. Notes of espresso and vanilla bean on the nose. Hints of coffee, vanilla, toasted malts and oats, and dark chocolate. Medium bodied very smooth mouth feel. Leaves the palate semi-dry. Super drinkable, always kept in rotation.

Bottle - big thick head, pitch black color, moderately roasty aroma and flavor, slight sweetness and creaminess, pretty good overall (and that coming from someone who is not the biggest stout fan)

Poured from 355mL bottle. Black with tan head. Aroma of roasted malt and chocolate. Taste same, neither overpowering, nice balance. Lightly creamy texture. Medium-full body.

Bottle. Pours walnut with a creamy mocha head; some splotchy lacing. Really enjoyed the aroma here - chocolate and roast highlighted by a sticky sweet vanilla. Taste is less complex - chocolate milk and roast. Medium body with a creamy mouthfeel. Very drinkable and tasty stout.

12 oz bottled 5 months ago, purchased at Johnís Grocery ($2.49) and poured into a pint glass at home. Black appearance with a frothy, lingering light brown head, moderate lacing. Aroma of milk chocolate, vanilla, caramel, roasted malts and light coffee. Similar flavor, sweet and creamy with a light earthy bitterness. Medium body, smooth and softly carbonated with a rich, lasting finish.

Yummy, particularly on tap. Very creamy and light bodied. Espresso-y. Nice head.

355 mL bottle. The right colour, but not much head. Unsweetened cocoa powder and espresso in the nose. Not quite what I expected, but Iím not complaining. The flavour is more what I expected, with the srtong notes from the nose dialed back, but still present. There is some sweetness, but certainly not a lot. Creamy body. Thin at the end.
