Sweeter and smoother than Kalamazoo Stout. A beer for special winter occasions. Great with chocolate desserts. Available October-March.

This was not as creamy/thick as I expected. Great dark chocolate stout, strong bitter chocolate on the aroma and flavours, not too sweet, a tiny touch of expresso, not boozy, easy to drink, very nice.

12oz bottle split two ways. Typical stout aromas, chocolate, roast malt, slight coffee. Taste follows, but as the label says very creamy... In a milky kind of way. Solid, but the other Bell’s stouts slay this one.

Pours dark with a tan head. Dissipates fairly quickly but lacing is nice. Chocolate and coffee notes. Mildly sweet with nice roast taste. It's a solid beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pretty thin in the palate - not as creamy as I expected. Nice milk chocolate flavor with moderate sweetness. Light bitterness from the roasted malt, providing pretty good balance. Not a whole lot of complexity. An easy-drinking stout.

Great beer! Sweet but not to the point where it’s weird, a lot of deep malt character. Very drinkable.

Bottle sample at a tasting at avrashi’s. Thanks troubles. Clear and very dark brown. Chocolate milk with some alcohol in the nose, sweet, chocolatey taste with hints of alcohol. Smooth, medium body, hot chocolate that’s made with water finish. Nice.

Black with a red tinge along the edges; Filmy head with good lacing. Aroma of chocolate, lactose, roasted barley, and some mild coffee ground notes. Flavor is is heavy on the chocolate and lactose with some notes of whipped cream, sugar and roasted barley and malts. Sweet and roasty aftertaste. Light body and light carbonation; Very smooth texture. I enjoyed this quite a bit!

Pours a very dark red turning to brown with a decent chocolate cream colored head. Aroma is bittersweet chocolate, roasty malts, espresso, slight smoke. Taste is cocoa, roasty marshmellow, smokey, malt, and coffee grinds. Texture is very smooth and easily drinkable. Overall a very pleasant surprise, one I would get a six pack of if I can find it again.
