Smells like nothing. Or chaff. Very strong grainy flavors. Small cream flavor, but dark roasted grains overpower.

Pours a dark brown with a thin off white head that dissipates quickly leaving little lacing. Very mild aroma with notes of vanilla and malt. Thinner mouthfeel than I expected. Coffee and chocolate notes with a toasty aftertaste. Not bad, but thin for a cream stout.

12 oz. bottle from Cash Wise in Minot. Appearance: finger dark brown head, dark brown-black color, opaque, good lacing. Aroma: heavy chocolate and roast, notes of grassy hops. Palate: full body, soft carbonation, creamy into oily texture, silky. Taste: sweet chocolate, with a growing dark chocolate bitter and a light roast. Overall, amazingly smooth, one of the smoothest stouts I have had I think. The sweetness is great without being outshone by the balancing bitterness on the finish.

Draft @ North High CMH. Light roast aroma. Dark black color with reddish tint around edges. Tastes a little sweet, with nice roast flavor & appropriate bitterness. Appropriate medium body. Very drinkable, nice stout.

Very very smooth and creamy. Chocolate aftertaste. Thin in the body. Very subtle porter like qualities in this gem of a stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
