Wow, one great stout after another. Today I went to the store and noticed all bells november stouts in singles! I snagged a variety sixpack of them....... As for the rate-- This was a very sweet stout. Not too creamy though..

Bottle. Pours a deep black with a thin brown head. Aroma is faint with chocolate, ice cream, and a hint of espresso. Flavor is balanced well with sweet malts, cream, and chocolate. Well carbonate, maybe too much. Finishes very creamy and smooth.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle purchased from Tiffany’s in Kalamazoo, Mich. A very solid cream stout. I must say, some of Bell’s has been hit or miss for me. But, this beer is spot-on. Well done.

Bottle picked up in Charlottesville, VA. Pours dark black with a nice big beige head. super creamy, but super flavorful too, especially as it warms. Great combination of complexity and quaffability.

UPDATED: APR 15, 2007 (bottle) Pours like motor oil with a brown head. Aroma of roasted malt and hints of mocha. Lots of carbonation, clashing with malts, strong cofee presence; unpleasant chalking taste. Slight bitter after taste thats relatively clean. Overated! Try their porter.
I take back what I said! Turns out that the reason it tasted chalky is because I drank it out of mulike stein. Much better in an eglish pint. Very good sout. How could I actually consider that this brewery could make a bad stout! My apologies. My original review was a 2.9 overall.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
One of my favorites. Almost black with a tiny tan head. Light aroma of chocolate and caramel. Tastes of chocolate and roasted nuts. Very little alcohol taste despite being 7.5%. Its not as creamy as I epected but still very excellent. Washes hot wing sauce away like nothing else.
