Sweeter and smoother than Kalamazoo Stout. A beer for special winter occasions. Great with chocolate desserts. Available October-March.

Bottle. Not an all bad aroma. Pours dark brown with a slight head. Sweet, vanilla/chocolate taste. Pleasant aftertaste, like after eating candy. No offensive. Not refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap @ Sergios World Beers. Pours opaque black with a tall tan head. Roast aroma with some toasty notes in the aroma. Full-bodied mouthfeel, rich roasty, malty, chocolately flavors with an underlying sweetness. Long finish of all those flavors. One not to pass up.

This was an easy drinking standard stout for me. Perhaps the batch I had was a little too old?

Pours dark black with thin khaki head. Aroma is sweet, chocolate, malty, toffee, good! Flavor is the same, but with a tangy quality. I like it.

Great stuff. Definitely needed to be called a "double cream" with the forceful sweetness evident. I can taste honey. Subtlely smokey. Bellís doesnít let me down.

This is batch 8825. Appearance - Dark brown, with a 1 finger light cream head. Head recedes to a fluffy ring clinging to the edge of the glass. Looks watery in thickness. Smell - I get lots of smoke, slight tartness like cherries, blueberries, and roasted barley. Taste - Roasted barley comes through strong. Tastes kind of "woody" to me. There is some slight coffee and maybe even some chocolate too. Mouthfeel - Very light, just how it looked. I was expecting more, maybe even a creamier feeling. Drinkability - This is very easy to drink, however it is not my favorite so I wouldnt really wany to drink it much.

I donít know what the design on the label is ...looks like a neuron ? But what I enjoy about, or say intrigued about this beer is the finish. Itís like a Tootsie Roll or butterscotch candy stick, but not overwhelmingly so (perhaps it would be a good pairing). fuzzy mouthfeel, mildly sweet and dry, aroma of burnt sugar, molasses, Sherlock Holmes. Appearance brown/black, cloudy, frothy, tan head finger high, dissipates after a minute, a bit trasparent on the sip, not a heavy fuel, yum

Great Majestic dark stout. A fine refreshing drink. I would recommend not having more than one in an evening. Heavy. Something to sip on. burnt Carmel undertones, creamy, thin coffee-ness, mild chocolaty taste. Good to let it breath in a glass. Not happy with the palate, a bit too sharp. A fine beverage overall.
