COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sweeter and smoother than Kalamazoo Stout. A beer for special winter occasions. Great with chocolate desserts. Available October-March.

Pours clear and nearly black with a nice big brown creamy head which diminishes quickly. Smells like choclate chip cookies and dark coffee. Also maybe a bit of banana and toffee. Medium bodied with minimal carbonation...fairly creamy textured. Heavy smokey flavor...more coffee. Okay, but only OK...

Pours black with a bubbly brown head. Strong hops, roast malt and a little anise in the nose. Taste is all roast malt but it is lighter than most examples. A very approachable stout.

Chocolate and roast malt dominate the nose. Sweet smooth mouthfeel. Super creamy and well fitting of it’s name

Rich, dark apearance and aroma. Heavy body, with creaminess throughout and minimal roasted character. This isn’t my favorite style, but this one is a pretty good option for the category.

Black pour with very little tan head. Roasty creaminess on the nose, some nice chocolate. Nice creamy mouthfeel and taste, vanilla/chocolate deliciousness.

Pours a nice dark brown black color with a rich creamy head, smells of roasted coffee chocolate and a hint out carmel, taste is amazing very pleasing on the palate you get that roasted malt, carmel chocolate flavor everytime, but every time you take a drink it seems you taste one over the other then the next its something else.....Love this beer very good stout...

Black pour, some head with good lacing. Good but not overpowering creamy nose. Taste is very malty—cream and chocolate with a nutty finish. Not much in the way of hops though they are present, but overall pretty awesome.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with 1-inch loose light brown head that quickly dissipates to almost no lacing. Sweet aroma of coffee and chocolate. Dark chocolate and espresso dominate a mild sweetness that lingers, then finishes in a sweeter aftertaste. Caramel and roasted malt notes appear. Mouthfeel has an unexpected liveliness not promised in the flat initial pour. Similar to an imperial stout, but without the alcohol kick. Nice to sip all by itself. (Note: some solids remained in bottle, but didn’t pour into glass.)

Great Majestic dark stout. A fine refreshing drink. I would recommend not having more than one in an evening. Heavy. Something to sip on. burnt Carmel undertones, creamy, thin coffee-ness, mild chocolaty taste. Good to let it breath in a glass. Not happy with the palate, a bit too sharp. A fine beverage overall.

A very dark pour with tan head. A faint smell of cocoa. Tastes of dark, bitter chocolate that lingers a while. A nice beer.
