Sweeter and smoother than Kalamazoo Stout. A beer for special winter occasions. Great with chocolate desserts. Available October-March.

A great stout with a not so overpowering cream flavor to it. Pours great with very little, to no foam head, which is a little off white brown. Has a great nose of cream, chocolate, and coffee bean. Sits very well in your mouth and doesn’t overpower the palate.

Bottle. 12 oz. Split with James and Tony. Pours a deep, thick brown-amber with a tall, quickly diminishing amber head. Aroma of vanilla, cream, oats, milk, coffee, honey, toffee, caramel, tart cherry, figs, toasted malts, barley, and hints of maple. Firm, yet supple body with a soft, creamy, smooth palate. Outrageously delicious stout.

Can taste the chocolate and cream and makes it so very little is wrong with the world and all is good.

Just as a top notch stout should be with hints of dark chocolate and roasted coffee. It has a great after taste that stays in your mouth. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone Kennyshomebrewing.blogspot.com

Bell’s has done it again with yet another masterful craft brew. For stout lovers, you can’t go wrong. And, a nice stout for those not into stouts. A sweet tasting stout with a chocolate malt aroma. Pours a deep, rich black color with little head. A silky, creamy texture with little carbonation that is long on the finish. Best sipped and savored, not chugged!

One of Bell’s all around best brews. Naturally it’s better on Draft but is easily one of the better stouts out there

Bells special double cream stout. Will get this again. Good winter beer and a new favorite porter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: MAY 22, 2005 Bell’s double cream stout is the perfect dessert beer. This is the one beer that you would be most tempted to create an ice cream float with. The chocolate and roasted barley blend perfectly to produce a well balanced malt flavor - excellent hop balance. The head tend to be a lot darker than many stouts. A friend of mine who is a confirmed Budweiser drinker, makes this his only exception. This might rerate at a perfect 5 someday in the future.
