Amazing! Sweet coffer and chocolate aroma. Heavy on the tongue. Very sweet, but just right. Great beer.

For a sweet stout (not my favorite style) this is great! The chocolate and caramel roasts dominate, but the smooth feel and overall character of the beer are pleasantly surprising.

12 oz bottle. Huele a chocolate y un poco de cafe. Sabe igual, con demasiado cafe paí mi. De todas formas sabe riquisima y es tan suave como indica su nombre.

Black color, opaque, big buddy tan head. Extra good, malty goodness, laces well, complex for a cream stout, this is no one-trick pony. Roasty-toasty soft, great palate. I really love this beer, it approaches perfection.

(12 oz bottle). Pours black with red hue and explosive caramel head that cascades a bit-pillowy on top. Aroma of roasted coffee beans, dark chocolate, some caramel (sweetness). Brilliant! Taste is sweet/sour balance with a dry roasted after taste. Medium bodied with creamy texture. Carbonation is low and the finish is bitter and becomes more prominent as you keep drinking. This is a wonderful beer. It has the perfect mix of sweet and dryness-many stouts emphasize the dryness which is not to my liking. Well done again!

Sweet and creamy as expected, not as balanced as it could be, but very good nonetheless. The hops and sweet malts are a bit at odds with each other.

Originally reviewed: 3/10/09. Pours a deep coal black with about an inchís worth of tan head on top. Retention was lacking, but the lacing rings were superb. Smells of milk chocolate! Great cocoa tones mixed with roasted coffee beans. Very pleasant.
Super creamy mouthfeel. Silky smooth. Great dark chocolate flavor that finishes like a bitter coffee. Great roasted characteristics in this one. This was a very easy stout to drink; and most often with stouts for me itís one-and-done, but not this one. I could drink a few of these for sure. Recommend.
