COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our take on the West Coast-style Double India Pale Ale, The Oracle places hop intensity first & foremost, making only the slightest concession to malt & balance. The fireworks start with the floral aromatic punch of two separate dry-hop sessions with Amarillo and NZ Pacific Jade. Resinous, citrusy hop flavors mixed with aggressive bitterness from a massive kettle addition deliver on that aromatic promise.

A good beer, defiantly worth the three sixty I had to part with to acquire it, but not a world-class beer. By this I mean that while it’s a smooth, enjoyable beer, it don’t have the complexities I expect from my favorite beers of this style.

Dry, floral, very subtle sauvignon blanc cat-piss-like aromas. Very floral and bright hops flavors. Very good malt balance. Creamy. Smooth.

12 oz bottle from TW. Pours a clear golden yellow with ample white head that leaves frothy lacing. Aroma is tart citrus with lemon and lime zest. Flavor is big with lemon and grapefruit along with tropical fruits. Medium to full bodied, aggressive carbonation, and lingering bitter boozy finish.

Bottled two weeks ago on 8/8. Aggressive hop profile with bitter grapefruit and sticky pine finish. Big off white head adds a creamy texture and it lasts a while. Aroma is mostly citrus with some lighter notes tropical fruits floating in the background. Pretty good drink here.

Pour is deep golden with an orange hue. White head, which is leaving a nice lacing. Aroma is slightly dank and resinous with pine and grapefruit shining through. Slight sweetness on the nose, tiny biscuity grain note. Taste is bittersweet pine/citrus that rolls quickly and quietly into sweet malt and tropical pineapple tangerine type bitter before finishing with a piney bitterness. The bitterness is ever increasing but is limited to the mid to back palate. More flavor on the taste, more bitter on the finish and beyond. Sort of thin body. Delicious none the less.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 8/8/2014. Pours slightly hazy bright orange color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head, with incredible retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Dense soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, floral, grass, pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of bright citrus/tropical hops and moderate malt sweetness; with good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, floral, grass, pine, light caramel, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pinapple, lemon/orange zest, citrus rind, pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity of juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate malt sweetness; with a good malt/bitterness balance and minimal cloying bitterness after the finish. Medium carbonation and fairly full bodied; with a moderately slick/sticky mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is fairly well hidden with a small warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent DIPA. All around great complexity and balance of citrus/tropical hops and moderate malt sweetness; and fairly smooth to sip on for the big ABV. A very enjoyable offering.

Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Medium orange / amber brew with dense white head. Aroma of floral, citrus and resinous hops. Taste is hops forward with citrus and resin right up front, some malt follows with a good bitter resin finish. Excellent DIPA.

Pours a golden copper orangish. Aroma is of caramel malt, yeasty, citrus and light pine. Flavor is a deep rich orange flavor with a very strong bitterness that quickly goes away and comes back strong at the finish. Very resiny unique IPA.

Darn good. Pours a cloudy, pineapple-yellow, with little head. Very floral, fruity aroma. Flavor is intensely bitter, with citrus and fruit, as well as some underlying sweetness. Finish is bitter. Very resinous mouth feel. Glad I could score a couple of bottles...
