Light red. Lightly sour with brett yeast, in both the aroma and the flavor. A hint of barnyard. Finishes light and effervescent, with flowers. A nice beer, refreshing.

Not the best sour I have had. Strong sour cherry flavor with a medicinal finish. Smells like cherries. Pours reddish brown with no head. Had at bells brewery. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice sour. Barnyard musty aroma and tastes. Sour is balanced with a nice sweet tone if fruits. Nice

On tap at fobab. Glad I finally got to try this one. Pours a reddish brown with a slight white foam head. Aromas of sour dark fruits, overripe strawberries. Taste is sour but incredibly drinkable. Loved this stuff.

Draft sample at FOBAB. Darker flanders sour. dark berry fruit. Tart at the beginning, but nice clean finish. Actually kind of a wierd chalky finish. Gave it a 5 on palate, because for an acidic sour, this was highly sessionable, and I could probably drink it all day and not get reflux.

On tap at Roll Out the Barrel at the Eccentric Café. The pour is a dark brownish-orange which is so strange for a sour. There isn’t much head to be offered, and a spot or two of lace. The aroma is decently sour with a nice kick of cherries and fruits but it seems to fall off here. The flavor is a touch disappointing. I was expecting a bit more bitterness and body to it. The flavor carries the sour fruits and cherries, but they’re light. The mouth feel is thin, and no carbonation, another surprise. It’s a little oily, but fails to cling or carbonate and the aftertaste is no where near the level of sour I was expecting. Not bad, but not great

Taste from the very end of a 750ml bottle at brew3crew’s house-warming party. Maybe 1oz. Hazy darker orange color. Thin off-white head. Dot or two of lace. Great, tart, sour apricot smell,s one apple. Good moderate sour taste, light sweet. Medium body. Very light carbonation. Lightly dry finish. Fantastic wild ale, judging from the single sip I got.

(Bottle) Pours reddish brown with a small head. The aroma holds balanced wood/wine with notes of minerals/wet stone, wet soil, cherries, phenols, bready malt, citric lacto and spider web/light horse blanket brett. The flavour is light sweet and medium acidic with tones of, wood, wine, lacto and brett. The mouthfeel is tart, clean and light tannin-ish with medium carbonation. Light phenolic and cherry/grape fruity finish. Near medium bodied.

Bottle received in trade. Thank you rfraga7! Pours tiny hazy reddish dark wooden brown with a rather small frothy and fizzy offwhite head that quickly dissipates without leaving much trace on the glass. Smell is sour and vinous with grains, moist wood, red wine, damp hay, moist moss, lemon juice, dark grapes, barnyard, sour milk, raspberries, blackberries and hints of red wine vinegar. Taste is sour and tannic with dark bread, lemon juice, raisins, damp hay, moist wood, tar, moist soil, dark grapes, grapefruit rinds, horse blanket, barnyard, sour milk and hints of red wine vinegar and raspberries. Mouthfeel is dry, tart, tannic astringent and medium bodied. Finish is sour and vinous with dark bread, lemon juice, red wine, barnyard, dark grapes, moist soil, moist wood, grapefruit rinds, raspberries, raisins and hints of red wine vinegar. Refreshing, vinous and surprisingly complex. Take your time and enjoy...

It’s wild...lot going on from sour funk wood basement mold cheese. But very well balanced with all these flavs. Enjoyable beer. Really liking these sours.
