Bottle shared by Irishboy. Pours hazy and ruddy with no head. Light citric/sour aroma. Med body. Flavor is tart/sour with Belgian yeast/fruit esters. In the finish it’s tart/sour fruit. Starts a bit slow, but it definitely improves with time.

Bottle. Clear red/brown pour with spotty white head. Aroma is quite earthy, lots of cherries, rather woody. Taste is sour, long earthy finish. med-heavy bodied with strong carbonation, in your face woodiness.

Bottle (750 ml). Shared by David, thanks! Clear dark red/amber with a low beige head a little lacing. Aroma is fruity (mainly tart cherries) with oak, red wine notes and slight brown sugar presence. Taste is slightly sweet with tart cherries (& other red fruits), oak, vinous notes, slight brown sugar, funk and slight acetic presence. Medium body. Slight winey mouthfeel. Really good Sour, underrated in my opinion. Nice hybrid between an American Wild Ale and a Flemish Sour.

Dark red/brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is dominated by tart cherries and some other dark fruits. Sour funk, oak. Flavor is sour cherries at first but finishes with sweet cherry juice and oak. Tart, but not overpowering. No vinegar notes. Medium bodied, good carbonation.

750mL bottle, sent from northernbrews (thanks a lot, Jeff), pours a hazy ruby red with a small beige head. Aroma of soured berries, oak barrels, some red wine notes, and a bit of funk. Flavour of red wine vinegar, oak barrels, some moderately sour red berries, and moderate funk. Quite complex, with a perfect amount of vinegary quality, accentuated really well by the oak wine barrels. Delicious sour.

Bottle   211 of 826 of batch K10851:   Deep amber, a bit reddish, thin spritzy off-white head, little lacing.   Tart nose, subtle wood and fruitiness.   A bit more wood and fruitiness shows up on the tongue.   A bit dry, tart, not really sour.   Definite unripened cherry in there.   Falls off somewhat quickly tho.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Soft dry finish, not a bruiser, a softer example.   Solid, but not very big.

Bomber shared with MrBunn at his casa. Pours ruby amber, like dark maple syrup. Nice foam. Aroma is somewhat understatedly tart. Taste is also understated. Tart cherries and berries. Not super sour, but smooth. Needs to warm some. Once it has aired out the dark fruits really come through. Very nice.
