3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle generously given to me by Scotter. Batch 11,000 bottled on 09/13/12. The pour is a hazed orange copper with a one inch light tan head. The aroma is straw floral hops, with a nice resin and caramel malt presence underneath. Nice, fresh and full nose. The taste is the strong resin hop character right away, harshly bitter, along with a strong caramel malt flavor that turns quickly to a hotly sweet alocohl burn in the finish. The palate is medium bodied, soft carbonation, and the sweetly hot, metallic, slightly oily finish. Thanks for this one Scott, I had wanted to try it.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
12 oz thanks to MrBunn. Thanks for coming through in the clutch! Pours a rich, deep ruby brown, with a thick almost glommy white head that glops a little before fading off. Nose is so strong of pine resin and grapefruit hints it makes me want to slap my momma. Taste is so full and sweet, yet appropriately light and lemony somehow, itís inexplicably the lightest heavy beer Iíve ever tried! This is straight fíd up, yo. Amazing shit. Clean, super well disguised ABV. Is there mint or something in this hiding the alcohol? Otherwise this shouldnít be possible. Wins my dog licking his own balls award...

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Amber color beer out of the bottle with a sticky beige head. Big sweet nose of hop resin and candy apples. Sticky sweet mouthfeel that is just chuck full of hoppy goodness. Flavors of pine, candied orange peel, toffee and a noticable alcohol burn. Hot on the tongue. There is a long hop Jolly Rancher finish that makes me want to lick my lips frequently. It gets a little boozy as it warms, but I was getting a little drunk as it warms so it was okay. I really liked this sticky mess.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
They needed to not fuck up the distro on this. It is a good beer a few months old. Like a red version of oracle in some ways. But I wanted it fresh.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Deep amber pour with a small white head. Aroma is sweet caramel maltiness, toasted bread, and citrusy hops. Chewy caramel and toast on the front fading into resin citrus juiciness. Medium thick body, warming alcohol and a long bitter finish.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a deep copper color from the bottle with frothy off-white head and great lacing. The commercial description gives you good notes for the aroma and taste. Overall, this beer is fantastic, and you canít even tell itís that alcoholic. I want a whole lot more, but it may be hard to find.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle thanks to wnoble. Clear amber pour with a nice sticky beige head. This beer is dominated by caramel malt, sweet sugars, toffee, and finishes with bitter hops. Slightly metallic. Itís decent, but Iím not a fan of this much caramel sweetness. The abv is well hidden. Itís not a DIPA, should be either ASA or barleywine.

Draft. Pours clear copper/amber with an beige head. Aroma is big caramel/toffee malt, melon/pine/resin/citrus hops. Taste is moderately bitter, melon/pine hops, big caramel malt. Palate is soft, oily, warming, big malt finish. More of a barleywine than a DIPA.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from a refrigerated 12 ounce bottle into a snifter. Pours a nice translucent amber color with a very nice, large, beige head of foam. The aroma is sweet and resiny. Taste is very resiny and grapefruity bitter with just enough malt backbone to keep the bitterness in check. Pretty good overall.
