Pours a dark murky orange. Notes of caramel and grapefruit. A little past it’s prime. Citrus and notes of alcohol. Could easily be mistaken for a barely wine.

Thanks jsquire! Pours a clean rich copper amber with one finger of sandy tan head. Heavy nose, lots of hop resin and oily notes, pine resin and spicy alcohol with some citrus rind and malt backing. Heavy flavor, lots of resin and oily notes. Warming alcohol and strong malt presence. Nice enough, but super intense (as I suppose was their intention).

This beer is awesome. Clear ruby red in color with a whispy kakki head that lingers to the end. Deep cherry in the aroma, grape, passion fruit, caramel. Medium-bodied, lightly carbonated with a lingering finish. Starts out malty and sweet, but not cloying. Balanced well with an assertive, but soft bitterness. Fantastic brew. A real treat.

Bottle. Dark amber pour with a tall, frothy tan head. Strong hop resins, fresh cut pine, citrus fruit, caramel and tropical fruit make up the aroma. Taste is big pine, floral hops, citrus oils, tropical fruit, chewy malt and rich caramel. Body is medium-full and very chewy with lots of resinous notes amongst the dense, creamy carbonation. Lingering hop bitterness throughout this one. Finishes with more rich caramel, chewy malt, strong pine, hops resins, tropical fruit notes and citrus oils. Big, bold double IPA right here!

12 oz bottle via trade with rayl101, thanks Kevin. Poured a nice looking syrupy deep orange with an average sized frothy off white head. Aroma is fruity and syrupy overall, notes of tropical fruit and citrus pulp, ruby red grapefruit, caramel, molasses. Big full syrupy body that coats nicely and only has a touch of heat on the very end, average carbonation of tiny bubbles. Flavor of hop cones, grapefruit rind, dry tropical fruits, grains, molassess, dry caramel and a touch of vanilla candy. Solid beer.
