3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A nice floral hop aroma, lightly malted, and somewhat bready. Appearance is a amber/brownish color with a nice sized off white head. Flavor is nice mild hops, malt backing, and a light fruitiness to it. Palate is bitter, long, nicely carbonated for the style. Overall, It doesn’t blow you away but its an enjoyable Amber Ale. I was probably expecting a bigger beer for an Anniversary Ale.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, with ClarkVV and Sully. Quiet sticky and sweet. Quite malty, with some plummy/raisiny fruit. Not too heavy and shows a light to medium body. Quite nice. Some late spicey characters noticed in the finish, hints of ginger.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
(Bottle 35,5 cl) Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma of caramel. Medium body with some caramel and then nothing. This beer really fades to become bland and superflouos. 290806

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
An amber beer with a disappearing orange head. The aroma is sweet spicy - which includes notes of ginger, but also light notes of oranges. The flavor is sweet malty and again quite spicy with ginger standing out.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Josh (daalamar) Thanks! Looks like orange muddy creek water. No head at all. Smells fruity, malty, and orange. Taste is very similar to the way wheat love tastes, over carbonated feel in the mouth. Still, its interesting, and certainly a very unique amber ale. Perhaps one they should consider adding to the production line.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle. Batch 7040.
Orangy Amber in color, nice quickly disapating head.
Smells of hops, with malty carriage. Citurs aftertaste with the malt starting off teh taste and then kicking in again in the later aftertaste.
Interesting brew, unique taste and I agree it’s worthy of their 20th Anniversary.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz. bottle from dilly deli. Batch 7040. Bottle conditioned. Drank on 7/10/06. Clear with some floaties. Copper in color with small light tan head. Drops very quickly. No foam, no lacing. Pretty strong aroma. Underlying sweetness with a big bouquet of florally hops. Chinookish similar to my all chinook AB clone. Citrus / grapefruit. Flavor - fairly bitter in front. Bitter, but with a swwet and substantial malt backbone on the tongue. Citrusy (mostly grapefruit) and floral hop flavor after the swallow. Palate - decent sized medium body. A little tingly on the tongue. Overall - a pretty good beer. Not sure what it is. A big IPA or american strong ale probably (I was wrong obvioiusly, but this is strange for an amber ale IMO). A little heavy on the citrus for me, but good and enjoyable just like everything else from Bells.
