India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

355ml can served in a pint glass. A: Pours a slightly cloudy orange color forming a medium creamy soapy white head with good retention and lots of lingering soapy lacings left in the glass. S: Nose is incredible. Very flowery, fruity and malty. Strong notes of caramel malts, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, resin, pine and hop flowers. T: Slightly sweet upfront taste that becomes quickly oily, lingering and bitter. Strong notes of caramel malts, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, resin and pine. Strong and very persistent bitter finish. M: Medium body. Average carbonation. Tangerine and resin in the aftertaste. Persistent bitterness. O: Excellent drinkability. Perfect IPA.

500ml can @El Lúpulo Feroz Oviedo. 06-06-2016.
In short: nice American IPA.
Pours hazy golen with nice white head. Moderate head retention, poor lacing. Pine, resins, fruity nose. Medium body, averge to high carbonation, crispy texture. Taste is quite bitter, pine, earthy, dry aftertaste. Good.

Pours a deep yellow, slightly orange color with a good head. Earthy, piney aroma. Has a strong citrusy hop bite with a good malt backbone. Mouthfeel is a little oily, which coats the tongue with a lingering bitterness. A classic IPA and a good standby, but not completely worth the price and hype. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Four pack of tallboy cans from Gomer’s in KCMO. Pours out a murky light golden amber. Frothy off white head. Floral-musty aromas. Flavor is light and smooth with layers of grapefruit, pine and floral notes. Some spice. Long bitter finish. Very good, but not stellar IMO.

Pint can via Beer Gonzo. It pours a mostly clean orange color with a medium white head. Aroma is tangy and sweet fruity, with notes of apricots and tangerine, light grass and lemon leaves. Taste is also lightly sweet fruity and medium crispy, tangy with notes of orange peel, grass, pine cones and apricots. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, tasty and drinks smoothly

Big thanks to Richthevillan for the big want, cheers Rich. Slightly hazy golden beer with medium head. Aroma is tropical fruit and slightly dusty hops. Taste is lightly stewed fruit, fruit salad, citrus and some grapefruit. Very nice taste, aroma is little muted though. Very good.

US pint can, a bit past it’s prime, probably. Cotteridge, Brum. Hazy, dark gold. Bubbly, thick, glossy topped, lasting, just off white head. Nose has fusty orange. Orange rind. Some pine needle. Chewy malts. Some leafy, oily herb. Taste is light, citrusy bitter. Some piny sweetness. Lovely mouthfeel. Smooth, and drinks way under the ABV. Bitterness rises and lingers, getting juicy and resinous. Didn’t expect too much from this, given it’s 12 week age, but it was very tasty and drinkable. Need to get a fresh one...
