COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

Pours a cloudy and dark orange color with a thick cream colored frothy head. It has a strong floral hop aroma. The taste is a kind of a sweet yet bitter taste the and the aftertaste is kind of dry with a bit of spruce or pine.

Pours hazy clear golden orange with a white head. Nose is ballanced with light malty sweetness, and clementine/citrus hops. The taste is lightly sweet with fruity and crisp hop character. Straight forward and well made ipa. Mouthfeel is light with a tingly carb. Aftertasteis fresh and shows light passionfruit. Mildly bitter end the finish. Good stuff.

Been waiting many years to get my hands on some Bellís; this is my first chance. Pours a hazy amber colour with a white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, citrus and hops. Taste is medium sweet leading to a beautifully balanced hop finish. While an excellent beer, a little surprised to see such a high rating when Iíve had better IPAs rated much lower. Freshness counts for a lot I guess!

UPDATED: JUN 27, 2015 Good appearance, aroma and taste were a bit mild and lacking. Went down super smooth for an IPA but I was a bit underwhelmed, giving the lofty ranking.

Pour an almost clear dank yellow, with a large bubbly white head. Aroma of slight grass, faint lemon, spruce, some floral. Nothing crazy or over the top, but really well balanced. Taste has a lot of sweetness to it, but again, the balance is sick, so the amount of bitterness is just right. Medium bodied, with a somewhat flat carbonation. Thanks dr. Hoprider.

Well-balanced IPA. The bitterness of the hops is the main feature, however it is mild and balanced by a body of medium complexity. The finish is dry and slightly bitter. With a fish on the front I wasnít expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised.

Bottle. 10C. Bottled mid March. Pale amber with a large white head that lasts well. Floral aroma with grapefruit zest, mandarins, mint, peach, pineapple, light toast and biscuit. Oily, medium carbonation. Quite sweet with some toast and biscuit sitting behind lots of peach and some tropical fruit, citrus. Moderate to high bitterness, leans only a little towards dry. Floral notes linger and resin and pepper creep in to the end too. Quite complex yet completely harmonious. Great.

Aroma is dank from wet hops, fat caramels and ripe fruits. Taste is sweet malts with apricots and peaches. A thick and oily hop sensation sets in with that bitter aftertaste tat is just perfect! The amount of top notch brews Iíve had lately is just awesome!

12oz bottle (4/24/15) poured into a weird dimpled shaker from ikea as I listen to Stars of the Lid and turn in a final paper late. Oh well. Aroma: Immediate pine, only subtle resin; sweet, only mildly acidic citrus (tangerine?) Appearance: hazy, wonderfully unfiltered, great lacing up the glass. Taste: Pine-y bitterness rests upon a large helping of biscuity malt. Could have more complexity in the hops--but the malt backbone lends *light beer commercial misogyny voice* drinkability. Palate: even and unremarkable due, again, to the balance. Overall: when youíre a Kalamazooer, youíve had enough of these (and enough of those fresh) that, even if you prefer more massive hop flavors, you can come to this for its balance and drinkability as a standby. Iím probably prejudiced in favor of this guy--you can cough it or savor it. >a talk with a friend you respect. Maybe lighthearted, maybe serious.

On tap at the Henry hotel - had to sample the local brew! Very good IPA with nice hoppiness and clean palate. There is a bit of an earthy/minty note present that is interesting, but Iím still not sure if it adds or detracts from the overall beer...
