Starts with a good head, a little cloudy. Two Hearted's got great hop flavor and bitterness with a dry hop finish.

UPDATED: JAN 29, 2012 Perhaps itís me, but Two Hearted just doesnít seem the same anymore. Still a worthwhile drink, but it does not feel as hoppy as I think it once did. I think itís probably me. Iíve been brewing hop bombs with Citra and other really potent hops, so this mild Centennial only brew just doesnít stand up. In the end, Iíll drink it any chance that I get.

A bit subtle when compared to SN-CB, and doesn't have the initial bite that I usually feel from other IPA examples. Definitely above average for the style, though.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Slightly hazy orange coloured body-very effervescent with a larger dense/floral off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit high a.a. hops. Mild musty aroma as well. Medium-bodied; Bittering hop flavour with citrus and floral qualities most noticed. Aftertaste clean and crisp-fairly drying, but not overpowering. An odd bitterness resides in the palate-not from hops, but from metal or something offensive. Overall, very nice to try-a well made beer with good qualities. I got this twelve ounce bottle in a six-pack from Merchant's in Dearborn, Michigan and sampled it on 24-December-2003.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nicely hoppy aroma. Beer pours relatively light golden color with a big off white head that is fully retained. The foam is heavily sticking to the sides of the glass and producing prodigeous lacing. Flavor is pleasantly bitter. In fact this taste somewhat like the good West Coast IPAs, but not that good. Very good, not great IPA.

4.9 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Warm, glowing, light peach with perfect clarity. Huge, puffy off-white head that fades here and there, leaving huge, cloud-like pillows of foam. Tons of sticky lace. Enormously aromatic nose with a huge blast of floral Centennial hops, with soft pink grapefruit, and hints of orange, peach, and mango. Underneath is a thin foundation of toasted malt and slightly chalky yeast. Flavor is an eruption of hop flavor and velvet hammer-like bitterness. Flowers, pink grapefruit, peaches, oranges, mangosÖitís all there in an incredibly soft and sticky delivery. The malt and yeast manage to stay afloat enough to provide a solid base for the hop explosion happening above. Medium in body, with a soft and round mouthfeel that only gets better with the yeast pour towards the bottom. Finishes dry, firm, and bitter, with a splash of citrus and black pepper. Through my many years of better beer, this is still my favorite expression of the IPA style, and one of only a few beers that I cannot drink only one of. My opening of a bottle of this guarantees a second and third. Itís worth noting that since the new brewery opened in Comstock, this beerís flavor profile has been much cleaner, with much less sediment.

A lighter ale with a citrus flavor. Not as hoppy or bitter as some ales.A good beer to introduce othrs to craft brewing. Even C**rs drinkers will enjoy.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a wonderful cloudy orange with a nice thick head. I recommend a tulip. Aroma is intensely bitter, smells like pure hops extract. Flavor is crisp. My palate is a battle ground between the huge bitterness and the malty goodness. What a wonderful

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: JUL 17, 2005 Golden-hued, loaded with millions of microparticles, well carbonated body, and relentless soft lumpy white head. Heavy lacing. Great clean, mouth-watering aroma of orange citrus, flowers, spice, and baking soda. This is a mature and superbly balanced IPA with mild sour notes. Super subtle, crisp, and smooth. A truly great beer. I could drink this forever.
