India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

Bottle, poured almost orange with a thick coarse head. Floral aroma. Taste was of citrusy, spicy hops and an almost sweet malt backbone. Very good beer.

Bottle from? I think The_Epeeist. Cloudy golden with pretty good head....Nice malty and spicy/floral hop aroma with a little bit of alcohol sweetness. The hops in this are almost unlike any other IPA Iíve ever had...big floral hop taste. Similar to the Jasmine IPA by Elysian, but...nothing but hops in here, didnít need any jasmine to get this taste. Pretty good thickness. Not too alcoholic, very driankable. I could have a few of these, and would love to.

This was a fine beer. Aroma was fruity. The taste was smooth and the hop taste was of mild hops and creamy malts. Slightly thin with a mellow finish.

Very hoppy, lots of citrus and spicey pine, but still very smooth. Slight chewy sweetness in the finish. AN excellent IPA for sure.

Nice cloudy orange pour with a lasting white head. Very flowery aroma with a bit of bready malt. Citrus hops are more evident in the taste and there is a nice bitterness that lasts through the entire tasting experience. This is very light on the palette but has a great depth of flavor. The malt does back up the hopping quite well and there is a lot to love in this as a complex and flavorful session type beer. Exceptional. I really enjoyed the long finish.

UPDATED: JUN 23, 2008 Pours to a nice hazy-burnt orange color. Aroma is a mixture of flowers, citrus, and light pine. Nice citrusy hop flavor with fine malt taste for balance makes this a very good IPA. Finish and aftertaste superb. One of my new favorites.

Big offwhite coarse-ish head over hazy orange body with ongoing carbonation. Deep, sweet, cookie-like malty aroma with hop notes so harmoniously blended I canít tell what the hops are like. Taste is deep, spicy malts with a deep, bitter resiny hop background. Peas, and grass as well. Bitter, resiny aftertaste. Very good, but slightly lacking in complexity. If they added just a little to this it would be an extraordinary beer. As a session beer this would be fantastic. (0.355l bottle, thanks to gr0ve.)

Bottle. Poured a clear deep gold/orage with a thick off-white head. A fruity citrus character dominates a hoppy nose. A mouth filling rush of hops at first quickly overtaken by a fruity citric body with hints of grapefruit, orange, and lemon that add a touch of sweetness make this very full and smooth beer excellent.

I think Iím a victim of circumstance. Or at least location. First of all, big thanks to moejuck, that stud of a trader. Now my dilemma. Being located in Northern California, Iíd say Iíve got access to some outstanding APAís and IPAís. While this really is a good beer, I just donít think itís an IPA. I know, I know. You say Iím used to all that extreme West Coast IPA. Well, yes and no. This just doesnít have that IPA bite to it. But I digress. Aroma is malty, yes and hoppy. Theres a little caramel in the nose, but also itís a bit tinny. Appearance is solid gold in color. Looks great! Mouthfeel is very full, round and yet soft. The flavor is a nice malty/hop balance with an astrignent finish. A good beer no doubt. An IPA? Hmmm...I think not.

Great IPA! Pours hazy gold, with nice frothy head and lacing. Bright citrus hopes with a good nose, some pine and spice and a great lingering finish that reminds you that you just had a great beer.
