India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

UPDATED: AUG 30, 2009 The best of the best; the creme de la creme; I get the pleasure of having cask conditioned 2H at a local pub; 2H in a bottle or on tap is amazing, but cask conditioned will blow your mind. With the CC you get much more of the true goodness - the flowery, citrusy taste will nicely coat your palate, without the typical hops explosion. I loved the beer before; now I am obsessed.

pours a nice orange color with an ample white head, looks appealing but nothing extraordinary. Nice hoppy aroma and a very hoppy flavor. Very piney bitter flavor, definately a solid IPA not my favorite, but certainly worthy of its reputation

I was very impressed with this beer. Almost like a midwest take on west coast IPA. Very hoppy and delicious. I am really becoming a fan of bells brews. Solid and good!

UPDATED: JUL 28, 2007 Bottle. Pours a nice frothy white 1" inch head that diminishes to 1/4". Hazy orange color. Strong floral hops and big citrus aroma, a lot of orange in this one. Taste of caramel malt and finishing with with the spicy bitterness of the hops, the orange flavors make it an interesting and enjoyable IPA. I had a lot of IPAs rated above this one, but after revisiting it I realized itís a true masterpiece.

After a bad experience with their Cherry Stout I had to try something else a little more redeeming. This poured out a slightly murky golden orange with a tall white rocky head. As the head shrank into the body scattered lacing was left to coat the glass. Very hoppy aroma with citric and floral hops coming out in abundance. There was a slight hint of malt to it at times. Taste was very similar very hoppy all the way through this one with citric and earthy flavors coming together for a great taste. A bitter hoppy aftertaste is how this ended. Mouthfeel was creamy with about a medium body. I could drink this all day, great flavor and aroma too bad I only picked up 2 bottles. Highly recommend to all hop heads and anyone that likes a good brew.

Pours a cloudy orange with a creamy offwhite head that laces well. Aroma is beautiful like a walk on a spring day. Floral and hoppy as Iíve ever experienced. Some notes of grass and pine. The flavor is much of the same with some malt background, citrus, hops and a hint of spice. This is amazingly smooth and drinkable for an IPA. It finishes quite crisp and delicious on the palate. It manages to not get you with that harsh bitterness. This is a great beer and will likely become my summertime goto this year on the deck. Delicious!

pours a cloudy orange with a creamy white head that fades down to a nice layer of lacing. aroma is huge on hops, a little grassy and a little citrus going on. great flowery hop flavor and what i like the most is the smoothness to the finish. it doesnt smack you across the face with bitterness, but instead maintains a nice even flavor all the way through. if all ipaís were this good, i could forsake stouts (not really, but this is a great beer).

Thanks to Duane. Wow hops, poured an orange, with a huge fizzy head, Immediate hops to the nose. Along with some citrus and flowers. The foamy head is still hanging around. I can finally rate a hoppy pale after mowing the lawn. I am enjoying this, just wish there was a bit more malt to balance this out. This is a good IPA and coming from a non-hop head, real good.

Hazed golds and ambers, creamy white head. A beautiful bouquet of aromas with huge amounts of spring florals and citrus up front, with lesser notes of pine and earth, and light sweet caramel tones lurking just under the surface. Taste was pretty close to the aroma with grapefruity hops blending harmoniously with the lightly sweetened malt backbone. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, floral , citric, bittersweet finish. What a perfect session IPA...if...well it was available local of course. Larry...are you listening??
