India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

Lighter colored malts used in this very intriguing IPA. Had a very nice head with lots of lace and pleasing yellow gold color. Very pronounced fresh hop aroma and flavor with a points of sweetness to set it off. Nicely carbonated and great mouth feel. Had this on draft at Bodega. Canít wait to have another.

Poured a cloudy orange yellow with a big thick creamy white head and thick lacing. Aroma is grapefruit, citrus, lemon and hops. Flavor is awesome.. bitter hops, citrus and grapefruit. All hops on the palate. This is a great beer! I wish they sold Bells out here!!

UPDATED: MAY 31, 2007 Golden yellow with good head, but nasty yeast. Outstanding flavor. Has a sweet syrupy grass-like flavor reminiscent of three floyds dreadnaught.

Had two on tap at Bennoís... feel comfortable with this rating. Cloudy bright orange/yellow body, white creamy head with excellent lacing. Aroma was mostly citrusy lemon hops, but not as much malt. Same with the flavor. It tastes like what I imagine hop candy would taste like. The hops were mostly a bright citrusy thing, but almost stale (but not old stale... maybe some underlying complexity that adds this flavor, like yeast perhaps). The sweetness is there to to make it palatable, but this is all about the hops. Quite a delicious elixir.

UPDATED: OCT 13, 2006 Pours similar to the Stone Brewing IPA with a cloudy orange and very creamy head. The head is great and has a very good lacing to it. The aroma is apparent as soon as you open the bottle. It consists of citrus orange, hops, graitfruit and peach. Re-rate- Had this at Barcade last night. I didnít realize how good this is the first time I had this. Maybe I had a bad bottle or something because this was great the second time around. Similar to the Stone IMO.

Bottle. Dark amber color with medium rocky head. Crisp aroma of hops and malt. Good complex flavor with strong finish. Another very good Bells brew.

When poured right out of the bottle has a citris smell or maybe peach. Nice cloud like light colored head. Smooth citris or floral flavor with hoppy finish

UPDATED: AUG 11, 2007 My regular "go-to" beer. Iím in the mood for this every single day of my life. Cloudy bright orange with a fluffy, medium white head. Vibrant aroma of citrus/orange and fruitiness. Has notes of sweet pale malt, lemon, orange zest and grapefruit. Pleasantly citrusy. Very well balanced with ample but very smooth bitterness. The citrus and overall flavor profile can best be described as "bright". Medium bodied with a smooth texture and moderate carbonation. The lacing hangs on the glass in sheets, good head retention. Excellent, satisfying drinkiní beer all around. Remarkably consistent from batch to batch.

Favorite IPA by far. Extremely hoppy smell, pours well leaving a nice head and a cloudy orange body. Perfect bitterness throughout.
