4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a light orange/golden color with a solid two finger head that sticks around for a while, with quite a bit of lacing.
Has a really nice pine, citrus, floral hop smell to it.
Taste is initially piney, foloowed by slightly bitter hops, and finishes with a nice sweet malt that keeps the hops from overwhelming.
Really nice IPA that I wish I had more of.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
this was awesome. the malts and hops are well balanced. very east coast IPA feel to it. bitter finish but nice and creamy to start with. the orange, lemon and pine aromas and flavors work themselves in with the hops. excellent.

4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 20/20
UPDATED: APR 8, 2008 rerate, batch 8359. God, this stuff is good when its fresh! Floral, bitter, with an almost candy like sweetness, but balances out before it goes overboard. It leaves you with a long wonderfully bitter aftertaste, and you just cant wait to have another swig. I had to re-rate this, only because i love it so damn much.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: AUG 26, 2008 Clear gold color with a very large rocky white head. Lots of lacing. Hoppy full aroma with a mildly hoppy flavor. I don’t know why this is so highly rated. Seemed pretty standard to me. 6/5/6/3/16
RERATE: Deep golden pour with a nice white fluffy head. Aroma is caramel malts with a nice dose of flowery hops. I’m still less than impressed with this beer. It’s obviously quality, but I’m not sure what makes it stand out from all the other quality IPAs out there? 6/3/6/3/17

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Nice strong aroma with a taste of citrus and strong hops. Subtle malt aftertaste prevents it from being overhopped. This is a beer I’m gonna wish I could get my hands on more often.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: JUL 18, 2006 Rerate: Had this on tap at the Fiddler’s Hearth. Man it was truly fantastic. Fresh aroma and flavor. Really hit the spot.
Two Hearted Ale has fine balance all the way through. In the aroma, the Centennial hops and sweet malt intertwine great. The bitterness is kept in check with a good malt back bone. It poured a hazy yellow-orange and a small off white head. The medium body makes this beer a staple beer in most households.
