India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Beer and Beyond shop. Hazy orange with white ring. Floral and a little baby barf aroma, a little floral-honey sweetness with soft bitterness. Medium body, long finish. Bottle’s a little old.

Pours a very hazy copper color. This white head that lasts the entire beer with lots of sticky lacing. Aroma is earthy and musty. A sweet flavor that seems to be a bit "juicy". Bitterness is subdued with a hint of dirt in the finish.

This IPA is about as good as it gets. This and Ballast Point Sculpin are the top 2 single IPAs IMO. taste and smell are fantastic. can’t say anything negative about this one. If you get the chance to try do so, if you are a hophead you will not be disappointed.

Amber color with creamy looking off white head. Aroma is tropical fruit; mango, pineapple. Taste is bitter up front with some pine and citrus notes. Slick mouth feel. Overall a well balanced, easy drinking IPA.

Bottle. Cloudy, golden orange pour with an off-white head. Big fruity, zesty aroma, with orange, lemon and some fruity malt sweetness. Flavour has a stiff bitterness, but offset by nice underlying fruity malt. A tasty blend of citrus flavours both sweet and bitter, with more grapefruit in the flavour than the aroma. A deliciously tasty and wonderfully complex IPA, but I could do with just a touch less bitterness to let the sweet notes shine a bit more. Personal preference probably.

Bottle from World Market. Very hazy orange/reddish in color. Nice hop nose of grapefruit with a good deal of sweetness as well. Good hops up front followed by grapefruit peel/mineral dryness. Some maltiness for balance. Very drinkable IPA.

UPDATED: JUL 3, 2014 BOD 3/10/14. Slightly hazy light amber pour with a massive head. Excellent lacing and retention. Outstanding nose of citrus and dank hops - mostly tropical with grapefruit in the background. Light medium body which is modestly smooth in texture coupled with an above average carbonation level. The flavor profile is well balanced, but skewed towards citric bitterness, and complex. It begins with hop flavors, grapefruit over tropical, flows into a burst of dank hop flavor that yields itself to grapefruit rind bitterness and ends with a light biscuit sweetness. The finish has a bit of effervescence, is somewhat crisp yet also smooth. A moderate grapefruit rind bitterness lingers.

UPDATED: JUN 19, 2014 16 oz can. Dated 4/28/14. Pours a beautiful orangish tan color 1 finger head. Color matches the trim on the can. Love when that happens. Tons of juicy citrus on the nose. Slight sweetness. Taste is super smooth. Still one of the best IPAs available. Terrific combo of bitterness and sweetness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma: dry bread, floral, and malty backbone with earthy hints. Appearance: drank out of bottle- didn’t properly asses. Color: golden, amber. Taste: light sweetness, lightly bitter, great floral kick. Palate: medium body, thin feel, average carbonation, good finish.
