3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz bottle into tulip. Minneapolis
Appearance: Copper/orange in Color. Hazy. Lots of while lacing.
Aroma: Strong hoppiness. Floral and citrusy, somewhat piney. Hops are very balanced. Malty backbone.
Taste: Mildy sweet and bitter upfront, sweetness fades to leave a pleasant, and not overwhelming bitterness in the finish.
Palate: Medium/full body. Thick texture. Fading bitter finish.
Overall: A really well balanced IPA. The hops are balanced and approachable. Not showy. A very nice beer.

On tap. Strong caramel malt aroma with fresh pine and strawberry hops. Hazy amber under white wisps and a thin white collar. Potent hops flavour that is an interesting mix of pine, grapefruit and minty, woody (Northern Brewer?). Spicy melanoidin malt and faint watermelon accents. Assertive bitterness is not overboard. Medium body, medium carbonation, lingering bitterness.

nice floral hop aroma and a sturdy malt backbone make this one very well balanced and tasty ipa. stands out from the crowd, but is not among my personal favorites. i DO wish it was available here though. not a hop bomb, but there’s enough there to take notice. crisp, clean, dry bitter finish."

Pour at BBF’14. A bit average in terms of aroma’s (no outspoken hop characteristics, a bit bland) and taste (one-sided, almost a pale ale w/o any hops). Okay-ish. Drinks well.

Two Hearted ale is a great ipa and perfect example of what to look for. The hops balance well with the malts to provide and easy going beer with the right amount of bitterness.

Pint Can. The American style IPA. Floral and citrus on the nose with a perfect off white foamy head that shows a hazy golden color in the glass. Great balance between hops and malts. All of the citrus, pine, and resin you expect with an IPA and some malt smoothness. Creamy texture that finishes dry without a lingering bitterness. Love this beer anytime of year.

4.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Strong hop aroma, delicious golden brown almost bronze color, clear and pristine texture, perfect balance of hops to provide a slight bitter after taste, minimal carbonation leading to limited foam and head at the top of pint glass. In my opinion one of the best if not the best IPA.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Average ipa. Mild in all typical ipa aspects. Hops a bit bland and boring. Drink a few decent west coast ipas and this one is very forgettable. Also, overpriced.
