4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Iíd be lying if I said the Hemingway tie in didnít put me in this beerís corner before even tasting it - but it helps that itís an amazing beer too. On tap @ Minnosa, MSP. Pours cloudy golden with an orange tint and medium thin slightly oily head. Aroma is big hops: citrus dominates, with pine and earthy notes following. Taste is punchy hop-forward and crisp. The hops really jump out much more on tap as I tried a bottle just yesterday. Hops are super fresh: citrusy, floral, and earthy. Malts are smart enough to stay out of the way and let the hops shine here. Exactly what an IPA should be.

Draft. Pour was a copper color and pretty clear. Aroma hits you with citrus, floral, and mixed in sweet malts. Taste is very citrus hop forward with floral hops and caramel malts taking a back seat. I like this beer, but I always get a kind of lemon dawn soapy taste as well. Nothing terrible, might just be me, but Iíve always gotten that whether draft, bottle, or can.

Probably one of the best IPA I've ever tasted. Perfect balance between hops and malt. It's very smooth ... I could drink it non-stop forever :).

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma is of citrus and strong caramel malts. Flavor is very citrus with a perfect mesh with the caramel malts that makes this very smooth and drinkable with a slight lingering bitter finish.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 20/20
This is the best IPA Iíve had. I never tried any of the world famous big names, but I didnít have to order it or wait in line. The hops balance withe the nice malty flavor. If there is better, someone send me one.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from a bottle into a shaker at home. This is one of my favorite "go to" IPAs that is consistently good. A healthy head (about two fingers) gives way to a floral hop aroma with traces of tropical fruit. While the hops are the real star in this beer, it has enough malt backbone to keep it from being hop juice.

Nice fresh bottle. canít believe iíve never rated this. Pours light golden into a IPA glass with a nice dense soft lasting head and great lace. Aroma is nice crisp coming through nice lemon zest, spice, light tropical and floral bouquet. Flavor is not ripe light orange juice, more fresh grain, growing bitterness and a spicy end. Feel is lively, full, and light. Within the context of its availability itís hard to say this is anything but awesome.

Best IPA Iíve ever had. If this doesnít deserve a 5, no beer does. Perfection.
