COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

Very citris-y taste and slightly bitter. Great aroma. Citris and fruity beers just arenít my thing, so I donít see what all the hype is about.

Bottle pour of a slightly hazy honey gold with a nice white frothy head. Aroma of big grapefruit at first with under tones of piney floral hops and some sweet fruits. Taste of sweet apricots, and pineapple that leads into the piney but citrusy hops that ends just a little bitter. Med lively and sticky body that has a bitter finish that does not linger too long. Over all very interesting and well balanced IPA that has depth and layers that make you keep wanting more. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

If you enjoy lots of hops and bitterness, this is the one for you. Nice malt balance. Taste has some notes of citrus and floral. Also high in alcohol content compared to some lagers and ales.

Probably one of the best IPA I've ever tasted. Perfect balance between hops and malt. It's very smooth ... I could drink it non-stop forever :).

To me the aroma is sorta pine-y, like Upper Michigan along the Two Hearted. Iíve tried at least 10 different great IPAís and this is my favorite of all. Two Hearted is complex, amazing, and a gracious example of really good beer to be simply enjoyed anywhere. Reminds me of camping in the U.P on the Two Heart.

Great brew. My heart skipped abeat when I saw it at the liquor store in Minneapolis. Was not disappointed at all! If this were available in Seattle, it would be on my grocery list everytime. I wonít go into the silly details of the taste. It is an awesome ale. Ship it to the WEST COAST PLEASE!

UPDATED: FEB 9, 2009 (bottle) For me this is the perfet beer - lovely floral hoppy aroma and crisp, slighly bitter hops in the taste. As good as any IPA I have tasted from a bottle.

This has been and will remain one of the best IPA I have ever had. The balance between floral hops and bitters is just point on. One of the better examples of what can happen when hops are done right. The flavor of the beer leave you with little to no alch feel. If you are new to IPAs and want to start at the top this is one of them

Classic IPa, signature taste, perfect balanced brew for your hoppy fix. Drink it now, zing

A: A bright golden color. See through, rich amber. The head was surprisingly thick and solid. Biteable even. Leaves a very nice lacing. S: Slightly fruity smell, but just slightly. Nice. T: When cold, it has that crisp bitterness that masks any subtlety. It has an odd, fishy aftertaste that reminds me of lake water... but thatís probably because of the bottle label. Unfortunately as it warms up it gets noticeably sour. Like warm, old orange juice. (personal experience. Donít ask.) M: Crisp, significant carbonation. A slight greasy feel that goes away quickly. Not bad. No danger of it becoming my favorite beer, but certainly wouldnít turn one down if offered. I like it better cold, unlike most darker beers, and ales in general for that matter. Cold and out of the bottle instead of in a glass, itís actually very good. And for that I bump drinkability from 3.5 to 4.
