4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours smooth with a light 1/2 inch head. Lovely floral and grapefruit aroma. Full hoppy flavor with very little taste of alcohol. Simply one of the finest IPAs I’ve found.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours out with a golden orange color and small frothy white head. Amazing sent of hops and slight citrus notes as well. Taste is amazing. Huge amounts of hoppy flavoring, yet very drinkable. Finishes clean with a nice lasting hoppy aftertastes.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Have had from tap and bottle. This review is after pouring from a bottle into a pint glass. I really enjoy this beer! Tough to decide whether I enjoy this or Dark Horse’s Crooked Tree more. It’s neck and neck. Aroma is wonderful, very fruity and hoppy. Appearance is dark yellow/copper, and not quite as cloudy as you might expect; my fingers are clearly visible on the other side of the glass. Only other complaint is that it’s a little bit more carbonated than I’d like. But I’m picking nits. It is full of flavor and quite refreshing. I find myself coming back to this beer again and again!

Wow- that is about all I can say. Love the floral and citrus on the very first smell and taste. Has to be one of the best beers ever created. I wish the hop character was a but rounder or thoughout the the entire taste but mad, is this amazing.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
One of my favorites! Pours a dark orange with a full off white head. Aroma is spicy hoppy pine, and a touch of citrus. Taste is malt, caramel and a little sweet with citrus. Nice balance and very clean.

4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Found this on draft in Columbus. Incredibly balanced with a strong hop presence. Slightly sweet and citrusy with a bite that sticks around for a minute. One if my favorites.

A lighter ale with a citrus flavor. Not as hoppy or bitter as some ales.A good beer to introduce othrs to craft brewing. Even C**rs drinkers will enjoy.

4.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Great, multi-flavored IPA that leads my list of the regular IPA’s. Outside of an Imperial IPA, this is hop heaven in my opinion. But this beer doesn’t stop there as there is a lot going on. My first taste made me think of licorice, but after a few sips I started to differentiate the hops from the piney, citrus flavor and the diacetyl that does help this beer. On draught, the aroma is almost too perfumy and pungent (my bar neighbors always seem to notice the aroma when I have a glass of it), but the taste is incredible with a variety of distinct flavors screaming for attention. Out of the bottle, the aroma is more subdued and the taste a bit flatter, but still head and shoulders above the competition. If Kalamazoo Brewing makes a bad beer, I haven’t found it, and this may be their best.
