4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
12 oz bottle. Batch #7795. Pours a light gold with a half-finger off-white head. Aroma is of grapefruit, hops and pine. Taste is sweet with a carbonated bitter pine grapefruit finish. Light and smooth. Very nice.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Large head. Aroma is rich with spice and hops, but you can tell it is also just slightly thin/watery. A little too light for my taste in the finish, just a little too much water, a touch too long of a finish, especially with this much hop bitter at the end. I just think if it has that much in the way of hops, the finish should be a little quicker/dryer. Overall a good beer, but I was just a little disappointed in the aroma/finish department.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Brown 12oz. bottle into a pint glass.
A dull and hazy amber beer with an off-white head that sticks around.
A great hop and orange rind on the nose. The hops dominate and leave little room for the faint bread malt lurking. Bell’s nailed the style with this one.
Citrus and hops again. Slight malts towards the finish. Hop oils remain through the finish and into the aftertaste. This is a bitter one but inline with the style.
Medium body and carbonation, this one goes down fine.
It’s loaded with hops and bitter. A thirst quencher and probably a good one. Good for several rounds but not all night.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Fruity aroma with a golden pour. Taste has strong hints of american malts and is distinctly centennial. Hoppy mouthfeel that doesn’t berate the palate, very sweet citrus-floral flavor.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours golden amber, decent head... solid lacing. Ok hop presence with, citrus notes and a piney bite. Little if any malt backbone. I love bells and love IPAs, but am confused with the unmitigated lovefest with this brew. A solid american IPA for sure.... but not on par with the CCB Jai Lais and Alesmiths of the world.

UPDATED: MAY 1, 2012 Cloudy golden pour with thin foamy head. Nice soft lacing on the glass. Extremely floral, citrus and orange aroma with good amount of malt on the back end. Medium body, smooth transition to long lasting finish. Good balance of hop and malt. Very well crafted.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy orange with a thick white head. Intense floral aroma with notes of citrus. Flavor is initally sweet but ends with a clean, hop finish. Great balance in this beer. Another winner from Bells.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
12 oz bottle
Aroma: pleasing mild floral
Appearance: tall, creamy head that lasts and leaves a film on surface and glass; amber orange color, slightly cloudy
Taste: refreshing, pleasant bitterness that’s just right and long lasting; finishes with a suggestion of sweetness. Invites sipping and savoring like an impressive wine.

Pours golden wit a big lacy head, stong hoppy aroma. The right amount of carbonation. Complex taste, full of fruit and pine flavors.
