India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

One of the best pale ales out there if not the very best. One is first struck by the Baroque copper hue and light foamy head then the odiferous but not overwhelming scent of fresh earthy flowers and grains exquisitely balanced between sweet and acid. A masterpiece of brewing with a high hop rate that plays remarkably well off the other qualities of alcohol and malt.

12 oz bottle - pours a slightly hazy light orange with minimal head that leaves a little bit of lacing - Citrus hops in the aroma and taste - At 7% abv the alcohol is hidden very well and this beer goes down dangerously smooth with a slight bitterness on the palate - As of 11-9-09 the commercial description here says "this beer doesnít have Bells in front of the name by explicit request from the brewer" - well if I was the brewer I would definitely put my name in front of this beer as it is delicious and easy to drink - Mega kudos to the brewer!

It pours a clear copper/honey color with a decent sized white head that leaves some good lacing. The aroma is of citrus, floral and piney hops with a little bit of bready malt with a definite grapefruit scent. The taste follows the nose, Iíd like it to be a little more complex but itís quite good the blend of citrus, floral and piney hops come in witha little bit of a grassy taste followed by bready malts. The palate is a medium bodied crisp finsih with no sign of alcohol, Overall: This is the craft beer I drink the most, itís quite tasty and available everywhere.

Appearance is hazy orange-yellow color with moderate head and little lacing. I cross-tasted vs. Hop Devil yesterday and S.N. Torpedo tonight. It has more hop aroma than either. More of citrus vs. Torpedoís rosemary character. Taste is bitter and fruity. The label is so strange for such a great beer! Itís probably my favorite IPA. Highly recommended by me!

Very well balanced beer. Not over powering. Just the right hoppiness. 12 ounce bottle into snifter.

12 oz bottle. Pours yellow clear with big head that fades before you know it. Nice hops and somewhat rich malts (nutty flavor). Finish is simple with little to no aftertaste. Very easy drinkable beer malts does not over power this above avg beer. And sweetness is very low key(which i like)

Pours from the bottle with a reddish copper color and a light tan head that stays with the beer nicely. The aroma is hops, the first flavor across the lips is hops, the finish is hops. But I do not feel like Iíve been smacked in the face with branch of hops. The malts and carbination are there, but just enough to make overall experience very enjoyable.

A 6 pack purchased at From the Vine. This is a spectacular IPA. Citrus and hops rise out of glass as soon as you start to pour. I taste orange and pine. A great example of the styoe.

A really well done ale. Pours a nice resilient orange with a smooth creme head. Lively carbonation makes this beer look fantastic and mouthfeel is near perfect. Aroma of citrus and hops. Very well balanced taste with some light hints of fruits and a lovely malt, countered by a nice hoppy finish. Awesome beer!

Very subtle, not harsh aroma. Amazingly smooth and crisp. One of my favorite IPAs thus far.
