India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

May be my favorite IPA, has a great hop/floral aroma, very thick head that stays throughout, pretty complex but great tasting brew

Lovely IPA. Current favorite for this hop head. Well balanced hops - citrusy with a bitter finish. Simply a joy to drink.

Beautiful pour with solid white head and faintly copper body. Aroma is enticing with hints of citrus. Can definitely taste the hops but they are not overwhelming. Crisp flavor with subtle sweetness always leaves me wanting more. This is an outstanding beer.

Pours deep straw colored. Excellent head and lacing. Super hoppy, citrusy, floral, fruity aroma. 10 for aroma. Finishes very smooth, with hints of hops, malt, citrus, and perfumy florals. Great beer.

Bottle. Clear orange color with thin, pale, sudsy head leaving light lacing. Some iridescence in the bubbles. Strong hops scent, some pine & citrus aromas. Hoptastic flavor, nice bitter bite, a little detergent astringency, very little malt profile. Much more bubbly and effervescent than I expected. Clean dry finish. Reminds me a bit of a Lagunitas IPA. Pleasant and smooth-drinking, but not terribly complex.

Great aroma mixes citrus and resin. Bitter like it should be but doesnít linger. Decent balance for an IPA. Good for a midwest beer, but itís no Odell IPA.

2 month old bottle poured to my SN IPA glass. A- Golden to orange color with brilliant clarity, pours with a two finger white head. Good retention and lacing, which lasts throughout the glass. S- Smells of grapefruit and pineapple with a slight yeast character also present. A slight caramel sweetness possibly from the malt in the background. T- Floral and grassy hop flavors along with some citrus fruit, once again the pineapple and grapefruit from the nose is apparent. A sweet note (possibly caramel malt?) is present on the back end of the sip. Moderate bitterness, but it doesnít overpower or peel your enamel like some in the style. No alcohol taste is present. M- Medium/high carbonation, low/medium mouthfeel, and a great drying note on the end from the low finishing gravity of this beer really dries things out and makes for a refreshing beer that you want to take another sip of almost immediately. O- Trying to be as objective as possible with this one, but in all honesty, I just love this beer! It is incredibly drinkable; I could easily drink 3-4 of these in the time it takes me to drink some other IPAs. The flavors of the centennial hops dominate, but there is enough malt to back it up. In addition, the finishing gravity of this beer makes for an easy drinking beer that doesnít fill you up.

Simply Awesome. The only downfall of this is the extreme unfiltered appearance. It is extremely cloudy and near orange in color. Itís hoppy taste takes over your palate and has almost a fruity after taste. Itís fairly generic label might have you pass right by for something with a bt more attraction... well the atraction of this one is not what is on the outside of the bottle but whatís on the inside!
