India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

This IPA has a nice balance of hops and smoothness and is a fairly mild IPA when it comes to the initial sensation of hops when it first hits your palate but Bellís THA has subtle notes that make this an enjoyable brew from start to finish. I plan on adding this to my somewhat regular list of beers that I purchase.

"Floral" is probably the strongest characteristic accompanying the hops. Pours a reddish brown and finishes bitter. Great with food, like a thick burger and fries.

Great beer! Perfectly crisp, complex hop flavor. It had a perfectly acceptable malt body to keep the balance intact. One of the best pours ive ever seen!

Got this bad boy on tap at Elleís on Main. Poured a nice transparent amber. Got her in a collector edition Bud Light NFL pint glass. Spilt most of it on the dance floor while trying to grind on girls I knew in high school. Usually a Miller guy, but when I tried it I said "Hot damn thatís got hops or something!" Real clean finish, nice drink ability. Canít wait to try this gem again.

This is the best IPA Iíve had. I never tried any of the world famous big names, but I didnít have to order it or wait in line. The hops balance withe the nice malty flavor. If there is better, someone send me one.

not too loud at the beginning and quiet enough at the end. i think it was a nice balance as i kind of usually fear / love the thrillingly zesty first sip of IPA. this one hung in there the whole way without running me over like a circus bus. awesome job!

UPDATED: FEB 9, 2008 Okay let me preface this with BELLS TWO HEARTED ROCKS MY SOCKS. Had this on tap instead of bottle at work : the Sharp Edge Creekhouse in Pittsburgh PA. Pours a light golden orange with a fluffy white head, the aroma is wonderful, floral citrus, and a whiff of sweetness. Very smooth in transition of flavors grapefruit, some caramel like tones, perhaps some apricot. Creamy mouthfeel, finishes with a refreshing hop crispness. Not overly done just enough to tart the mouth.
