COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

Complex flavors. Very tasty. This one has made it into my top 5 all time favs. Still have not identified all the different flavors in this beer. Also need to try it as my first beer...

Cloudy gold appearance with nice, fluffy, duvel-esque head. Nice smell for an IPA, although a little too sweet for my taste. Taste is also good for the style although not nearly as "biting" as I expected this beer to be. Least favorite aspect of this brew was the fact that there is no real lasting bitterness hanging around after sipping, it just kind of goes dull after a second or two. I understand this could be a plus for some, especially if you drink it like a session beer, but I like my IPAs to attack the palate a little more. Overall, this is a very good beer but did not live up to the hype Ive been reading recently. Good IPA but not one of the best.

This is a perfect iteration of an IPA. Finish is smooth. Hops are abundant and aromatic. An ideal brew for almost any occaision.

A great session IPA. Not overwhelming but distinctive. I was a little put-off at first by the thin gold color, but the flavor is full with a satisfying feel to the mouth.

UPDATED: MAY 15, 2007 I like this brew. It has a very nice hoppy taste without being overly bitter. It has a great all round finish. Competes well with Dog Fish Head 90 minute IPA. Well worth the price.

My personal favorite IPA. Pleasing to the eyes, nose, and mouth. Rich copper color with a creamy head. Very up front with the hop flavor, with a crisp bittersweet finish.

Aye my illegitimate bastard of a baby. This is one brew that I always come back to. This a classic American IPA with all that goes along with that. Two hearted also happens to bitter and aroma their beer with one of my personal favorite hops Centennial. The beer pours a perfect clear darker golden color. The head is thick white and lacy that seems to linger on the glass as much as the aroma does. The aroma is all hops, hops, and more fantastic hops. The taste is definitely that signature centennial hops palate: earthy, spicy, and piney all in one. TOP NOTCH!

Just about the perfect American IPA. The aroma alone is enough to buy this beer. Id almost be just happy enough smelling this beer, but to taste it too is a treat. My favourite drinking beer...could buy it pint by pint if I lived closer to where its served. Snap this one up if you see it, and drink it fresh.

Love this one. I got a mixed 6 and liked third coast ale, a similar one, even better.
