3.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
The hops flavor of this IPA has an explosive crescendo that turns into a gentle landing with little to no unpleasant aftertaste. I think a better name might be Two Fisted Ale. Other than the gentle aftertaste this beer packs a straight punch of flavor. However, that name wouldn’t attract as many customers. I have to give the aroma much lower than everyone else. I tried nearly two six packs before writing this (not all at once!) I just don’t get the aroma everyone talks about. This is a first rate IPA and I’ll keep testing it until I do. One last point, Kalamazoo should consider labeling this as an IPA. I only bought it because of the name and the wonderful label.

Not a hop head so this was much better than I had expected. Hoppy but not over the top, beautiful color, aroma but the flavor! Citrus, malt, crisp... a wonderful beer.

4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Overall, one of the best IPAs that I’ve ever tasted...super citrusy hoppy aroma leads into an hoppy taste and hoppy finish. Summation: If you like a hoppy beer with a good balanced flavor, then this beer IS for YOU!!! Clean beer through and through. My favorite Bell’s beer...try a bottle, you won’t regret it.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Medium head quickly disappears..almost no lace. Not a lot of mystery to this one...loaded with hops. This beer presents a floral taste accompanied by bitterness thoughout. Strong lemon flavor. Beers that offer the combination of bitterness and high alcohol levels score well here - this one will rank high.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
In my top five - and I love IPAs. This beer manages a unique flavor while staying true to the style. Great color, deep amber with a hint of orange, slight citrus taste and great hops flavor through the finish.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Very much reminds me of Bell’s Hopslam with a little less kick to it.
Floral hoppy aroma, with a nice smooth finish. This is very well balanced and a very enjoyable beer. I will be buying it again.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This is the perfect IPA; the bitterness is perfectly balanced with a creamy malt, and the 7% ABV is just right for an IPA.

Nose is hoppy with grapefruit, lemon slightly metallic. Taste of citrusy hops. Nice bitter long finish.

Rapidly becoming my favorite beer. Very flavorful, in perfect balance, and light, crisp and refreshing. Perfect for throwing beanbags on a warm summer afternoon. 7% alcohol will warm you up on a cold winter day of icefishing as well!

On tap as usual, pours a very nice yellow-orange color with a nice white cream head. The smell is a strong citrus with a big hop presence. Taste is incredible citrus, lemon zest with a mild pine finish. Great lacing on the glass through the whole beer. The mouth fell is like BANG here are your hops, but yet so easy to drink. This is one of my favorite IPA’s if not my number one. I always find myself buying this keg after trying all the rest; this is the go to IPA!!!!!
