India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

This beer has an amazing finish, very balanced but has a good hop content, definately one of the best IPAís Ive had.

One of the smoothest IPAs that Iíve ever had. Although I thought this was a APA. No kick from the hops. I guess Iíve almost come to expect a bit of a bite from the hops. This beer has been around a while so have IPAs been getting more hoppy? Would be interesting to know how they got such a smooth hop taste. This beer is mostly about the hops, although the malt support is there to make this a very balanced beer

Light amber pour with a thin ring of white head. Smell: Quite fragrant: hops, floral notes, a little sweetness. Taste: Hops, citrus, grapefruit, orange, malt. Bells two hearted ale has a slightly bubbly mouthfeel with a crisp clean finish that lingers slightly....Plenty of hops throughout! A pretty good IPA, but not among my favorites. I was slightly disappointed with this beer. For all of the press and accolades Bells has been getting recently I really was expecting more from this beer. (It was rated #11 in the best american breweries of the decade 2000-2009) So far with Bells beers Iím 0-2, though I have yet to try the stout. From what Iíve seen so far, Iíd have to say that Bells is as almost as overrated as Dogfish Head.

Floral, citrus (orange, lemon, grapefruit), clover grassy hop with a bitter lingering trace of greenery on the tongue. Fruit bitter. Sweet and flowery smell quick after the pour, fading. Have this with Fish Tacos, and remember that fresh water fish and salt water fish can sometimes live side by side.

Bottle and tap. PERFECT IPA! Dry, hoppy, bitter, citrus, pine and grassy. Try and enjoy.

My first and favorite ipa, wonderfully hoppy with hints of citrus and orange.

On tap. Florally hop aroma. Poured a golden amber color, a bit cloudy. Citrusy taste. Drank this literally hundreds of times but this pint is disappointing. I think they need their lines cleaned. Also seems kind of flat. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A little too many hops for my taste but if you like IPAís, this is a good beer for you. A nice malt balance in the taste. A piney aroma with fruity undertones. The malt body can balance the hop presence but it still isnít enough for me.

An aggressive pour resulted in a nice 1/4 inch off white head. The aroma is outstanding. The taste is even better. One the best IPA I've had. I'm surprised it took me this long to track down a 6-pack, which I was able to get at The Beer Store in Southampton, PA. I have to track down this in a 1/6th keg.
