To me the aroma is sorta pine-y, like Upper Michigan along the Two Hearted. Iíve tried at least 10 different great IPAís and this is my favorite of all. Two Hearted is complex, amazing, and a gracious example of really good beer to be simply enjoyed anywhere. Reminds me of camping in the U.P on the Two Heart.

Great brew. My heart skipped abeat when I saw it at the liquor store in Minneapolis. Was not disappointed at all! If this were available in Seattle, it would be on my grocery list everytime. I wonít go into the silly details of the taste. It is an awesome ale. Ship it to the WEST COAST PLEASE!

4.9 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 20/20
UPDATED: FEB 9, 2009 (bottle) For me this is the perfet beer - lovely floral hoppy aroma and crisp, slighly bitter hops in the taste. As good as any IPA I have tasted from a bottle.

This has been and will remain one of the best IPA I have ever had. The balance between floral hops and bitters is just point on. One of the better examples of what can happen when hops are done right. The flavor of the beer leave you with little to no alch feel. If you are new to IPAs and want to start at the top this is one of them

Wow! Wonderful balance of hops and malts make this one of the most drinkable ipaís out there. My biggest wish is that they would ship it to Colorado. Be careful to check the dates on the box when you buy it. I have often found cases that are a few months old which absolutely kills the flavor. Track this one down and drink a few. Youíll be pleased.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Light amber pour with a thin ring of white head. Smell: Quite fragrant: hops, floral notes, a little sweetness. Taste: Hops, citrus, grapefruit, orange, malt. Bells two hearted ale has a slightly bubbly mouthfeel with a crisp clean finish that lingers slightly....Plenty of hops throughout! A pretty good IPA, but not among my favorites. I was slightly disappointed with this beer. For all of the press and accolades Bells has been getting recently I really was expecting more from this beer. (It was rated #11 in the best american breweries of the decade 2000-2009) So far with Bells beers Iím 0-2, though I have yet to try the stout. From what Iíve seen so far, Iíd have to say that Bells is as almost as overrated as Dogfish Head.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
This is a great go to beer; the only thing that I can critique is the appearance; it's not as appealing appearance wise as other IPA's but the taste makes up for where that is lacking

Smell is floral hops, citrus. Taste is clean crisp malty pine citrus hops. The 7% abv is hidden well. Almost as good as Sweetwater IPA :-)

This is a great beer for a non IPA lover. Easy on the palate. Very drinkable. Great color. Ordered this from tap at County Grill.
