India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

12-oz. bottle, Batch 7237 from tjthresh. Pours a slightly cloudy bronze, brass with a medium frothy white head, diminishes somewhat to a patchy film, some lacing. Aroma is very fragrant floral and citrus hops, perfumey, caramel malt (meal, grain, straw), slightly toasted, yeast (dough). Moderately bitter and medium acidity, tart hop rind, pine juice, malty balanced flavor with a hint of oranges. Medium bodied, fizzy and dry palate.

courtesy of Chris Beers - pours a cloudy orange colour under a huge foamy white head; fairly fruity hoppy nose (mango and apricots) with notes of fresh cream; quite soft mouthfeel and full-bodied; a robust but never aggressive bitterness takes control of the taste; moderately dry bitter and long fruity finish - balanced and robust; very well-made

12 oz. bottle, split with Matts_Property, pours hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma of potent grapefruit, piney hops and citrus, balanced by caramel malt. Flavour is heavy on the piney hops, grapefruit and citrus, with just enough caramel malt. Most wonderful IPA.

Yeah this is a top notch IPA...Bells does it AGAIN. Beer pours a slightly cloudy golden/orange color with a medium white head. Aromas are hops, pine, and more hops! Flavor is delicious. Hoppy, faint hints on honey, light malt notes, perfect carbonation. Best IPA I have ever had I do believe.

Poured a medium, cloudy orange color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of grapefruits, citris and flowers. Tastes of oranges, grapefruit, pine and malt. Has a nice sweet and bitter balance. Very good. Thanks to goldtwins for trading me this one.

The aroma is of hop blossoms, FTD flowers, fir trees and freshly ground black pepper. Hazy, deep golden hue with a large, rocky white head. Mostly, but not fully diminishing with great lacing. The flavor is that of bitter juniper berries and pine/fir with just a suggestion of the heavy malt and high gravity alcohol. Full-bodied with soft carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel. Long, citrisy, bone-dry finish with a woodsy, gin-laden whisper at the far end. Very nice IPA.

UPDATED: APR 26, 2014 Bottle @ home, courtesy of bushmat1. Thanks Matt! Glowing, light orange appearance with a white head. Orange/grapefruit citrusy, lightly piney hoppy nose that’s almost like an orange creamsicle. Mildly bitter, moderate orange and grapefruit citrusy hoppy, floral, moderately, sweet pale malty flavor. Sweet, citrus hoppy aftertaste. Excellent!

Thank you Yngwie for sharing this great beer! It has been on my wish-list, and I’m not disappointed! It’s warm orange with a nice head and a fruity, hoppy aroma with loads of citrus, tangerine being dominant. The flavour is nice, harmonic and delicious with lots of fruit/citrus, again tangerine is the most dominant. It also has nice caramel notes that balances the bitterness nicely. It’s very charming and harmonic - yummi!!!! 2444
