Loads and loads of lemon-drop citrus replays make this one all about the well-played C-hops. Sweet solid body and slightly heavy palate, good aromas, very controlled bitterness does not become grassy.

Pours clear golden orange with a fast diminishing white head. Nice fresh hoppy aroma, also caramel, citrus, perfume, malty, quite strong but really nice. Flavor...well...bitter from begining till the end, quite hoppy, fresh, some caramel and flower notes

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Vega in Pompano Beach, FL. Appearance is a hazy bronze with a thin off white head. Aroma is of fresh hops and a hint of malt. Taste is a mellower hop flavor that turns a nice bitter towards the end. Palate is pretty neutral for a IPA, which is why I liked it so much. Overall, a very well done IPA that is no too hoppy like so many of this style.

4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: MAR 16, 2014 Pours a cloudy orange. Thick white head that lingers long. Smells of sweet orange and pine. Taste of orange, tangerine, grapefruit and pine. Hints of coconut and vanilla linger on the palate. The flavors combined taste like fruit loops. Has a nice dry resiny finish. This is a great IPA and a must try for any IPA enthusiast.

Two Hearted Ale - Bell's Brewery
7% ABV 55 IBU
APPEARANCE: Pours a hazy slightly cloudy golden straw color. Big huge billowy head that dissipated rather quickly leaving some great lacing patterns.
AROMA: The nose was a bit subdued. Floral notes, summertime dandelions and soft grass. Nice & mellow citrus and pine hops.
TASTE: I get grain and sweet malts up front. Nice citrus wave crashes and releases some grapefruit and tropical fruits. Slight bitterness on the end.
MOUTHFEEL: Light and crisp with medium body and medium prickly carbonation. Dry snappy finish.
OVERALL: Very solid brew. I think of it as a gateway into IPA's. Not a lot of that bitterness that I'm used to but still really enjoyable.
RATING: 4/5 Zombie Heads!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Fruity and hoppy beer, with a crispy sensation on the tongue. Not overly hoppy though. Don’t know what the fuss is about, this ipa is average and has too much co2.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Taste is mostly pine hops, with a slight peach flavor and enough malt sweetness to balance out the hop bitterness. This is a good beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Beautiful rich peach golden colour. Aroma is light orange and hops. Taste is extremely sessional for a big IPA - malt and hops in strong balance. Not especially fruity. Definitely prefer Sculpin but this is a very smash able beer.
