COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

Clear golden pour with light honey hue. Fluffy off-white foam with plenty of lacing. Nice looking beer. All the beautiful smells of a well-made IPA come rushing out. Grapefruit, lemon, floral notes, pine, and pepper all with a strong toasted malt backbone. Damn, does it taste good. Sweet biscuity malts with a kiss of honey, plenty of citrus, and a peppery hop that sticks on the tongue without being overpowering, or too oily. Doesnít assault your tongue with overwhelming bitterness, but builds up slowly and lingers. After working in a beer store for four years this is one IPA I always recommend customers try first. I am taking a job in the UP and feel as if this beer is a good omen for my move.

Probably one of the best IPA I've ever tasted. Perfect balance between hops and malt. It's very smooth ... I could drink it non-stop forever :).

Aroma is of citrus and strong caramel malts. Flavor is very citrus with a perfect mesh with the caramel malts that makes this very smooth and drinkable with a slight lingering bitter finish.

This is the best IPA Iíve had. I never tried any of the world famous big names, but I didnít have to order it or wait in line. The hops balance withe the nice malty flavor. If there is better, someone send me one.

Poured from a bottle into a shaker at home. This is one of my favorite "go to" IPAs that is consistently good. A healthy head (about two fingers) gives way to a floral hop aroma with traces of tropical fruit. While the hops are the real star in this beer, it has enough malt backbone to keep it from being hop juice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

No overly assertive hop character. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice fresh bottle. canít believe iíve never rated this. Pours light golden into a IPA glass with a nice dense soft lasting head and great lace. Aroma is nice crisp coming through nice lemon zest, spice, light tropical and floral bouquet. Flavor is not ripe light orange juice, more fresh grain, growing bitterness and a spicy end. Feel is lively, full, and light. Within the context of its availability itís hard to say this is anything but awesome.

Best IPA Iíve ever had. If this doesnít deserve a 5, no beer does. Perfection.

2014/08/29 - Pours a translucent orange-copper colour with a large, frothy, off white head that lingers and leaves moderate lacing. Aroma is huge citrus (grapefruit, orange and lemon), some bready notes, mild caramel and a touch of pine. Taste follows nose; lots of citrus, some biscuit and a hint of caramel. Nice sweet and tart citrus with a moderately bitter finish. Mouthfeel is medium and slick with sharp carbonation and a smooth, drying finish. Really enjoyed the finish; very refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
