India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

I remember having this several years ago and thinking it may be the best beer I have ever had. I donít know if the beer has changed, or it is due to the numerous excellent beers I have had since then, but for some reason it is not what I expected. It definitely cannot hang with the DIPAs but then again that isnít really a fair comparison. Pours a slightly hazy orange/gold color with minimal head. Aroma smells fresh with strong floral notes. Taste is some malt sweetness with a nice bitter finish that lingers for a while. The body is medium and overall the beer is very crisp and fresh. Donít get me wrong, I think this is a very nice beer but it is not how I remembered it. Next up is the Lagunitas Wilco Tango Foxtrot (WTF) Ale. I need something a little stronger.

Excellent hop aroma and nice head from the pour from the bottle. The color was a little cloudy, but the flavor matched the hoppy nose. Its a well balanced IPA with hops . Great beer from bells

Draft at MOTR Pub at Scrawl concert on September 15, 2012. Medium amber color--or at least it appeared that way in the annoying green-tinted Rolling Rock glass it was served in, nice bittersweet aroma with pine and lots of citrus, small white head that slowly left with little lacing, solid bittersweet flavor that kind of creeps up on you, hops and malt well integrated.

Pours dark straw with a tight white head. Hoppy nose; like pine/spruce hops. Aroma of sweet spruce hops, hints of citrus. Very decent brew. Taste some kind of sweetness?

36cl, American brew, bottled on Jan 17th 2013, thx to Secret Santa!, complex bitter brew, malty/fruity and slightly floral/woody, easy to drink, very balanced, clear, small head, good brew, yet expensive

35,5 cl bottle @ olio, batch #11796, bottled 05.03.2013. Thanks tiong!
Aroma is quite light with peaches and apricot. Flavour has grassy hops, some fruits, floral notes and biscuits. Also some gooseberry bush and honey. A bit of a disappointment.

One of my most favorite IPAs thus far. Very crisp, clean, and refreshing in flavor and body. Noticeable hop aroma and flavor that adds a great complexity to the beer without overwhelming it with bitterness. Balanced with a tilt toward the hoppy side- just perfect for an IPA.
