COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

Tasty IPA - varies from batch to batch - I lived down the street from Bells in my college years and although I like this beer, it is not their best. As far as IPAís wait for Bells to release their Hopslam IPA in the winter, a much better beer.

Unfortunately this brew isnít for me. Aroma was above par with floral/herbal notes. Yet there was something off setting with the flavor. Maybe a bad batch. Disappointing.

Pours clear light amber with thin white head. Taste is slightly bitter with a mellow malty undertone. Clears the palate instantly but leaves it crisp and refreshed. Great beer but not blown away.

Flavors of orange zest, sulfur, and sweet pale malt. Not bad, but nothing spectacular. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at hopkins tavern. Light Copper with white head. Good lacing. Smells very piney. Dry hops from the outset. Medium high body. Hoppy bitterness lasts. Despite the bitterness, better to drink than I remembered. Itís ok , maybe a bit overplayed, but decent.

Well, I had much higher expectations for this one...can't hide that I'm disappointed. Quite oily, not very hoppy, finish is less than awesome. Hmmmm, like others have said, maybe this is best served on tap. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The aroma is subtle, you don't feel the hop punch as the real IPA's do. The palate is also soft. Maybe I'm used to strong IPA's. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bell's Two Hearted seems to be a favorite amongs mid-west hop heads. In the cask it poured a deep amber color, relativley brite, with no head. The hops burst in aroma however, the hop aroma is very citricy, pungent, like pineapple. The flavor is slightly malty but over powered by the citric hop character. The mouthfeel is somewhat resine like. There is a sweet finish for a nice overall balance. The earthy, vine like hop character is not to my liking. I much prefer a flora hop quality

I got tricked into having an IPA by my waitress. I'm just not a fan of the style although this one had a bit of a light refreshing aftertaste. One true downside was it looked like a standard bland yellow beer.
