India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

Well here it goes. Poured into my pint glass the beer is a nice shade of gold/orange. The head is enormus. Bits of sticky lace remain after it settles down. The cap stays put on top of my glass holding in all the flavor. The smell is awesome. So piney. It has a strong grapefruit/ citrus smell as well. There’s also a lovely floral boquet that wafts up to my nose. The first sip is a punch inthe mouth. It tastes like the most floral christmas tree I’ve ever smelled. In a good way. So tart and bitter it makes me pucker. I love it. The feel seems very sticky and dry. It just sort of sets up shop in my mouth and stays there. I am really starting to appreciate hops. This beer does nothing but feed the fire that has been started. Bring on the big boys.

Aroma: caramel, toast, floral, leather, woody Appearance: amber Taste: medium sweetness, medium bitterness Palate: medium body, average carbonation, long finish Overall: 19 out of 20; Simply my favorite IPA... and it doesn’t go all IPA’ish on me. A real beer; unique enough to command the score its given.

Fra fad, på Blind Tiger, New York. Orangegylden, næsten klar. lille hvidt skum. Lækker humlenæse med masser af grønt gran. Blodappelsin og grape. Karamel, let toast. Bitter, mundrensende finish. God balance. Virkelig god IPA

12 oz bottle into a shaker pint. Pale, clear amber with a nice white head that laces the glass perfectly. Pine and citrus on the nose and follows through to the palate. The bitterness is remarkably smooth and the finish is dry. Finishes so clean. One of the best ipa’s hands down!

Tap at Blue Door Pub. Pineapple brown sugar, and caramel. Very sweet upfront with a resiny tropical bitter finish. Medium body with sticky feel. Nice sweet and fruity pale.

Aromas of grapefruit, citrus, plenty of hops, and floral. Light carbonation, golden in color, the head clings, and is slightly off white and well formed. It has citrus flavors, grapefruit, maybe rind, floral hops flavoring. It doesn’t have the bitter bite that a lot of IPA;s have, which is different. The ingredients work well together.

Bue à la pression. Parfaitement équilibrée, belle rondeur dans l’ensemble. L’amertume vient seulement sur la fin. Excellent.

Pours clear amber ( very light ) to blonde , small white foam . Less intense smell than expected . Taste is nice and intense though . Very floral , soapy in a good way , impressive amount of bitterness, yet very gentle . Aftertaste is bitter, floral hoppy . Carbonation is perfect . Appart from the soapy ( in a good way ) character, I find this very average though good beer, just not sure why this is 100 overall 100 style , while many other IPAs I’ve had were way better and rated lower .

Tap- pours golden bronze with a white head that settles quick. It's taste perfect balance of floral hops and maltyness that isn't over kill. Delicious ale and it goes great with a chicken sandwich from Frankford Hall!
