Mildy spicy aroma with a little hint of almost lamic like sourness. Flavor is very similar to the aroma with a note of belgian yeast fruitiness and sweetness. Creamy medium body. IMtheOptimator (1161), Bethel, Connecticut, USA Aug 11, 2006 Thanks to Walt for this beer. Poured a hazy dark amber/copper with a semi-fizzy off-white head. Sweet aroma of black cherries, cinnamon, apple cider, and honey wheat bread. Flavor is rich and wheaty, with notes of honey wheat and rye bread, and grapes. It starts out fairly sweet but ends with a bit of an acidic kick that sits in the back of your mouth. Finish is warm and dry. A little on the thin side. May not be deep or thick enoguh to be truly outstanding, but is a very nice beer. BeerandBlues2 (3201), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Aug 7, 2006 Pours straw yellow with a patchy white head.
