Sammy (3934), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jan 14, 2006 Creamy wheat aroma, appearance, and taste. Smooth drink.Nice bubbly head with lace. Some banana, citrus, understated spices, suitable carbonation, pleasant bitterness, lots of malt offset, milkshake finish.Good medium body. A nice one. Thanks Dr. Jay. apoptosis (1316), Long Island, New York, USA Jan 12, 2006 Cloudy...medium, burnt-orange...floaties (yeasty)...Highly wheaty and spicy aroma (coriander, citrus)...This is a very good wheat beer, which are often too mellow and uninspired. Bells made this wheat beer slightly sweet, with a generous helping of refreshing fruit such as oranges and even banans. Nicely balanced too. notalush (2627), Denver, Colorado, USA Jan 12, 2006 Cloudy orange in color, with lasting, sticky white lace - aroma of wheat (duh), oranges, lemon rind, honey - rather hearty for a wheat - tastes like marmalade spread on toast - some citrus and spice on the tail end - quite a wonderful wheat beer. UnsofistaCat (222), Garden City, Michigan, USA Jan 9, 2006 light golden sun in color, not much of a head. Hops, clove and banana smell. This one really delivers the banana and clove taste. Wow. Just a little thin on the back side. The 6 combined with the 2 would be delicious. Great beer. hellomynameis (794), Mayer, Minnesota, USA Jan 8, 2006 Orange bordering on amber colour with rocky off-white head that stuck around for a while but disappeared into a thing ring after drinking. Clean grassy aroma with citrus hops aroma. Confronted with slightly bitter hops, a bit of wheaty grain, followed by a soft sweetness. Taste lingers nicely for a moment or two then disappears. Thicker bready texture. Murphy (1759), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA Jan 5, 2006 Pours with a thin head, body is a light orange with a slight haze. Slow bubbles. Fresh citrus aroma balanced with quite a bit of grains- a fragrance so similar to that found in many many breweries. Pleasing. Taste is fruity up front with leafy hops. Great presence of tangy hops, bitterness, dry graininess balanced with a light sweetness. Bitterness is almost perfect. Finish is a little lacking, slight bananna citrus. Dogbrick (2813), Columbus, Ohio, USA Jan 5, 2006 Thanks to Darkover for hooking me up. Golden-orange color with a compact off-white head. Thin, spotty lacing. The aroma is mildly fruity and malty. Light-bodied and fairly lively, with light yeast, wheat and malt flavors. The finish is smooth and has a hint of citrus with a sweet aftertaste. Pretty enjoyable overall. hotstuff (3175), Indiana, USA Jan 4, 2006 Bottle. White fizzy head that was mostly lasting and contained various sized bubbles, sparse lacing, cloudy, carbonated and a yellow orange hue. Aroma was malty, hoppy, sweet, banana, spicy, and clove and ditto for the flavor. Smooth palate. Light-medium body.
