A Wheat Ale brewed with American Wheat and a proprietary blend of Hefe and classic Belgian-style yeasts. A refreshing winter alternative created from the subtle fusion of two classic flavors.

12 oz bottle. The pour is light, like a golden straw that you can't see through. It's got a decent pure white head. There is minimal lace and the aroma is pretty odd. There is a pretty dominant lemon and resultant fruit note, but at the same time there is a bready, yeasty tone like is found in Belgians. The flavor is much of the same. The mouth feel is really thin, and the flavors do not linger at all. They're in and out. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not huge fan of wheat beers, this was better than most. I am a fan of Belgian beers, so that was nice compared to traditional wheat beer. Another good beer from Bells, you should try this if you like wheat beer.

Not a fan of this one. Has mildew-like qualities with very little else to redeem it.

Bottle. Hazy golden pour with a long lasting white head. Mild banana-clove aroma. More of the same in the flavor. Tastes like a mellow hefe with hints of sweet citrus and some graininess in the finish. Average carbonation with watery texture. A good change of pace from the heavier Winter offerings.

12 oz bottle poured into a shaker. The initial aroma comes on strong citrus - lemon primarily - with some clove notes, and some faint hoppy/earthy notes. It appears hazy, straw yellow with a thin white head that fades quickly. It reduces down to a couple splotches floating atop the beer. Itís mostly sweet, some sour, very lemony with some orange notes maybe. Itís a light, fizzy body, it finishes with some nutmeg/hop spiciness - very clean finish. A spicy witbier, with more hefe qualities than belgian - built for session drinking.

Rcvd in trade; It has a hazy light golden yellow colored body with a soft white head that gets slightly lumpy; lacing is mostly sporadic and clings adequately to the glass; the smell has some cloves and wheat up front, nice Belgian yeasty and fruitiness backing that up fairly well; the taste takes the previously mentioned flavors and adds a bready sort of flavoring to heighten the flavoring; sweet sticky fruity aftertaste, somewhat of a dry clove-like finish; its fairly easy on the palate and somewhat sessionable, carbonation is good for the style and for me as thereís an adequate harshness for a good witbier but not overly done; overall, its not as spicy as some witbiers Iíve had, but hey, still pretty good for the style and for me, Iíd have this again

Bottle--yellow color with a large, frothy head that doesnít stick around or leaves lacing. Wheat, yeast and lemon aroma. Yeasty taste with some wheat and slight citrus on the finish. Doesnít seem especially winter, but enjoyable. Total wine.

"Pours a lemonade yellow with a small bubbly head that disappears pretty fast. Plenty of carbonation. Aroma is sweet, hints of fruits and spices. Taste is somewhat lacking. Hints of spices and grass. After a few second a slight metallic taste hits you then disappears leaving no aftertaste.

Pours a beautiful cloudy straw. Aroma of orange peel and bread. On the palate it's pretty standard though, nothing exceptional. Long pleasant well balanced finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
