3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 temporrari (361) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - DEC 21, 2003
UPDATED: NOV 28, 2004 Had this on tap at the bar. Made it difficult to judge aroma as it was served quite cold. Cloudy yellow color with a thick and long lasting white head. Flavor was not outstanding but pleasant. Was served with an orange slice. This is a pretty good brew. Could drink it all night.

(Draught) Pours a hazy maze color with a creamy white head. This is a very sweet beer with flavors of citrus, bananas, and cream.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 TAR (2236) - Lafayette, Colorado, USA - DEC 8, 2003
Draft: Opaque banana. Creamy, rocky white head. Sharply citric and yeasty on the nose with bananas and cream notes, noble hops, clove, and sour apples. Pepper, herb, and peach undertones. Soft, spongy carbonation. Predominantly cirtsuy at the start, followed by heaps of bananas and cream, and soft pale malts. Lightly peppery throughout with fresh green hop notes. Dry and tingly toward the finish with persistent yeast notes and herbal, leafy hops. Loaded with yeast and fresh hops. Quite the change of pace.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 EddieG (167) - Palos Heights, Illinois, USA - DEC 7, 2003
I was suprised to see that this was the seasonal Bells offering at my local restaurant for good beer. Fairly light (not quite whitish) with a substantial head and fruity aroma. The first sip hits you that sweet citrusy flvor associated wtih wits and the use of weiss yeasts. Teh flavors blended between orange zest and banana. A very tasty beer that well exceeded my expectations and initial bias created by some other reviews
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 badgerben (4116) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - DEC 4, 2003
I had heard horrific things from a friend about this so I was going into it with very low expectations. (We're stout/porter/bock guys) I found this to be quite pleasing. Fairly light. I noticed a strong orange presence, something I discovered that added great taste. Some spice remnants as well. Very cloudy yellow appearance. Quite happy!
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 smoosh (525) - New Albany, Indiana, USA - NOV 30, 2003
Draft: bright yellow with a fizzy white head. This brew reminds me of some of the classic German wheat beers. Lots of banana and spice. I enjoyed it.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 BBB63 (5023) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - NOV 23, 2003
On tap: Hazy amber/copper hue with very good off-white head and good lace. Aroma hinted of banana, spice, lemon, pineapple, earthy yeast esters. The taste started malty and citric twangy, then followed with a shot of spice and lively hops. well balanced. The mouthfeel was creamy and smooth. A well done brew and according to Larry Bell, this is an experimental wheat/weizen, not a witbier.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 fraternie (754) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 23, 2003
Murky yellow-orange body. Citrusy aroma (lemons, pineapples, oranges). Malt is yeasty, wheaty, with notes of lemon and orange. Moderately hoppy finish, smooth and refreshing. Not spectacular by any means (no better than Oberon in my opinion) but a good white nonetheless.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 cb (810) - Roeland Park, Kansas, USA - NOV 17, 2003
Cloudy lemon. Aroma of fruit salad, specifically pineapple and nectarine. Sticky lacing. Slightly dry, yet creamy finish. Hoppy, pungent, bit of corn. A good session weizen.
