A Wheat Ale brewed with American Wheat and a proprietary blend of Hefe and classic Belgian-style yeasts. A refreshing winter alternative created from the subtle fusion of two classic flavors.

Tulip snifter from bottle. A: sweet, with hints of candy yeast and bread. Slightly bitter smell as well. App: very hazy, beautiful golden hue. T: rather light, slight sweetness with a hint of poppy in the front and back. P: incredibly crisp, plentiful bubbles. With lasting aftertaste of sweetness. Very smooth.

Big fan of Bell's, but I might just have a bad batch. Label on bottle shows less than 90 days old. Beer poured out very flat. Barely carbonated. Zero head. Zero lacing. Slightly skunky aroma. Taste wasn't as bad as the other indicators were preparing me for. Almost no hop flavor, I'd give an IBU of under 20. For a 5.0 alcohol beer, a Schlitz would be a step up from this. I can't see Bell's letting this leave the brewery, but at $9 a sixer, I'll keep walking. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cloudy, yellow-lime like appearance. No head. Mild, but pleasant banana, malted wheat, yeast, and bubblegum aroma. Absolutely delectable flavour. Mid bodied, silky, and quite creamy. Extremely smooth combination of banana, bubblegum, yeast, wheat and a quaint finishing hop. Very smooth and enjoyable white.

Can. Light golden and nearly clear body - suprising for a wit. Half inch of soapy white head. Aromas of wheat, apples, oranges, grass, cracked pepper. Moderate spice / pepper character with tangy oranges. Light to medium in body with a subtle fruity sweetness. Mild coriander in the nose and flavor. Easy drinking. Pretty good.

Drank from a twelve ounce bottle purchased from Wegmanís. Sweet aroma, with a nice smooth sweet inital taste and the slightest bite at the end, good complexity. A good beer but I wouldnít want to drink a six pack of these.

Pours fuzzy yellow small white head. Smell is lemonish. Taste is refreshing, citrussy ( lemon) bit sweet. Some tiny sourness. Bit high carbo ( guess its the style) . Rather thin mouthfeel. Very crispy though. Nice

Draft sampled from tap at work earlier (slow day so I figured it made sense). Hazy, pale gold, nice head with decent retention and lacing. Nose is mild banana, biscuit, clove and bread dough. Mouth is unremarkable, mildly bready, some of the other things from the nose (just finished a 11.5% shitty Quad from Clown Shoes, so I donít remember what the hell I just typed... and Iím too lazy to stop and read it). Anyways, this was pretty weak... and I like Bells so this isnít a typical brew from them. Iím mainly blaming the blizzard for ruining my mood... and that dick-bag Tom Brady (who just tied two real QBs in Super Bowl wins -- back when QBs were actually manly men who didnít need rules to protect their fairy ass).

Picked up a 6 pack on Christmas Eve to drink while opening some gifts. A yeast aroma with a light golden hue. Typical wheat flavor with a hint of clover. I have tried a few beers from this highly respected brewery, and I have to say I have not been overly impressed. I find this to be another rather average offering. Not bad, but not exceptional.

Somewhat cloudy gold beer with a thin bright white head that disappears quickly. Sour nose of orange peel, coriander, white pepper, and yeast. Flavor is bright with orange and lemon citrus flavors followed by some typical WIT spice of coriander and grains of paradise. This is then finished with a wisp of bitterness. Refreshing, drinkable beer, but what makes it a winter ale, I have no idea--better for summer.
