mikeben (325), Naperville, Illinois, USA Dec 29, 2004 Updated: May 5, 2008What a great beer! The best new one I have had in many months, this winter wheat is refreshing, crisp, spicey and just plain delicious. I love what beer but some get it to sickningly sweet or make it too heavy. This is the perfect mix of sweet and sour and has a fine body. First class and has a beautiful painting on the bottle as well. jezmez68 (249), Chesterton, Indiana, USA Dec 26, 2006 I love whit beers! This one was a pleasant surprise in a 12-pack sampler mostly consisting of Stouts or Stout winter ales. Nice citrusy smell, great clean taste with a hint of citrus. Great label artwork. olmancd (2), Ohio, USA does not count Sep 30, 2004 Great wheat flavor with a bite. A nice surprise for the winter. I had it for the first time when I was not able to find Oberon and liked it a great deal better. I only wish I could get it year round. I have to order it by the case. ChrisPants (317), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA Jan 1, 2005 Poured light cloudy orange-yellow-brown. Aroma slightly citrus and fruity. Palate smooth, aftertaste yummy. After trying several overflavored/overhopped Bells stouts in the past week, I was impressed by the subtlety of this fine white. Economical, and I would try this again. Jfishback13 (271), Royal Oak, Michigan, USA Mar 9, 2004 This beer now seems to be everywhere, except not in stores :( I've found it at select brewpubs and then at hickich bars alongside with Bud and MGD... it's availability given the other selections available make me love this beer. Similar to Oberon in feel. Bell's is normally harsh and wonderful, but like Oberon, this beer is smooth. Cloudy, witish yellow, and just an excellent mouth feel. A nice sweet beer which once again makes it into my rare wheat rotation.
