AskForJenny (407), Ontario, New York, USA Oct 25, 2007 Pours fizzy, straw colored liquid. Some sulfur on the first sip, but that goes away. It’s a better take relative to Euorpean ciders than the Liberty Spy, and it continues Bellwether’s overall tradition of superior products. Overall, a very approachable cider. Try it if you can find it. jason (1451), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 23, 2007 Bottle. Pours a light yellow golden body. Aroma is sugary, tart. Flavor is the same with a slight dryness to it. This one was pretty smooth. zach8270 (1404), Henrietta, New York, USA Mar 9, 2007 Sampled at The Old Toad - Rochester, NY. Pale yellow color with no head. Aroma is very dry and tart with lots of apples and some dry sugars. Flavor is very tart, tangy, and dry. Very dry and warm at the end. Tastes like a decent Chardonnay. hopscotch (4358), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Sep 19, 2006 Bottle... Almost colorless. Nice nose of funky peach, stale insole (in a good way?) and an intimation of green apple bubblegum. Tart n tangy flavor. Light to medium-bodied with a dry mouthfeel and a hint of carbonation. Finishes acidic and dry. Kudos to argo0 for sharing the bottle! kmweaver (1765), Takoma Park, Maryland, USA Sep 17, 2006 750mL, courtesy of argo0. Light straw appearance, headless. Reserved green apple aroma, complex sugar quality. Huge amounts of sweetness, tart apple in a full mouthfeel. Seems to have slight hints of vanilla running throughout.
