3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Frothmeister (385) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 14, 2013
650ml bottle from the brewery. Pours slightly hazy, and the colour of honey with a thin off-white head. Aroma is resinous hops, fresh pineapple, faint golden syrup, and lemon zest. A little watery, with initial soapy notes, faint tropical fruit, crisp mineral water undertones, and a bitter pithy finish. It’s not bad, but it seems to be missing something and falls a little flat. Very little that says "Belgian" here, but an easy drinking IPA that would be good for the warm weather.

Golden color with a frothy white head and lace. Lovely hop citrus aroma. Spicy gummy bear flavor. Bitter citrus finish.
3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 kevinsenn (552) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 31, 2013
Bottle from brewery. Pours clear amber with a white head. Brilliant fruity aroma: orange, grapefruit, peach, kiwi, strawberry, etc. Taste is "like every other Belgian IPA I’ve had", and that’s not a bad thin; pine, slight spice, citrus fruits, with good hop bitterness. Medium-bodied with high carbonation. Another good one from Bellwoods.
4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 JoeMcPhee (7625) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 12, 2013
Deep golden pour with a thick fluffy white head. The aroma is great. Loads of pine and bright Belgian spice aroma. Incredible juiciness with a nice tropical fruit aroma. A little bit of pepper and some tropical fruitiness. Some candied fruit but the beer is nicely dry and fresh. Zesty and delicious. One of my favorites from these guys. Absolutely delicious.
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 jjarovi (48) - markham, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 11, 2013
Nice overall beer but lacks IPA or Belgian character and is a bit too soft on both. Easy to drink, refreshing and clean for a Belgian themed beer. Quite full body and the aroma is light for the style and expected more hops, but should be tried if at the pub.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 solidfunk (1820) - Ontario, CANADA - MAR 7, 2013
Another great beer. Enough Belgian influence to away me from my boredom of IPAs. Pours cloudy copper. Good head, good lacing. Floral hops on aroma with some sugarcane and booze. Some grapefruit astringency as well. Average carbonation. Finishes bitter. Tap at brewpub.

UPDATED: MAR 18, 2013 From the bottle, pours a lovely hazy gold with a pillowy white head. Aroma of belgian yeast, lemon, honey, grapefruit. Medium mouth feel, good carbonation with a bitter slight astringent finish.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 shaynsawchuk (165) - Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 2, 2013
650 mL. Copper with a thick white head, lots of lacing. Caramel, yeast and citrus, beeswax and pine, fruit esters, spice and cough syrup. Pleasently clean mouth feel with high carbonation. Sweet but well balanced by both hops and yeast. Complex and tasty.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 neongolden (166) - Ontario, CANADA - FEB 25, 2013
(650mL bottle from brewery, bottled Feb 4 2013 and consumed 20 days later) Pours a hazy orange with a bubbly, fluffy white head and loads of lace. Smells strongly of both hops and yeast. Citrus, catty, tropical fruit, bready yeast, spices. Flavour follows on, fresh tropical fruit, citrus, some sweet lighter malts, Belgian yeast, slight spice. Fades into medium hop bitterness, bit astringent with a fruity core lingering, slight booze when warm. Mouthfeel medium-full, oily, moderate effervescent carb. The hops and yeast characters really well balanced and complementary with strong fruitiness, more "Belgian" than most Belgian IPAs. Very good stuff.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Sammy (7041) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 18, 2013
Aroma is nice, but it is citra strong. It is tamed but as it warms, it gives off some ammonia, cat p. A small retained head. More than one hop. ABove average mouthfeel, spurred on by the Belgian yeast. Decent drinkability and taste for the style.
