Golden orange in colour with a thin but long lasting white head, excellent lacing. The aroma is of pine and tropical fruits, some oranges. The flavour is quite fruity, citrus and pine, some sweetness. Chewy mouthfeel, medium body, moderate carbonation. Finishes long, warming, good hop bitterness. They did a very good job hiding the alcohol, drinks like an IPA.

500ml bottle from the brewery in Toronto, Ontario.
Bottled on December 18, 2013.

[Bottle (12oz)] Pours a nice-looking slightly hazy golden-orange with a long-lasting frothy off-white head. Some lacing. Lovely hoppy aroma, resiny and citrusy, along with fruit and breadiness. Big hoppy flavour along with a bit of alcohol, grapefruit, some tropical fruit, bready malt and a long bitter finish. Alcohol is there but not 10%. Medium bodied. A solid DIPA.

January 25, 2014. 500mL bottle from Bellwoods bottleshop. Touch of orange sweetness in the nose. Lovely orangey colour. Pretty lacing while drinking. Small head that didnít last. Nice balanced IPA. So far my favourite IPA from Bellwoods.

2014/02/01 - Pours a translucent orange copper colour with a foamy, two finger, off white head. Aroma is mango, pineapple, orange, grapefruit, pine and hop resin. Taste is pine, hop resin, herbal notes, tropical fruits, citrus, caramel and roasted malt. Mouthfeel is sticky with lively carbonation and a bitter, very dry finish. Alcohol is very well hidden. A great IIPA, but I still give Witchshark the edge. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

2014-01-17. Crisp dark orange body with a modest off white head. Aroma is pleasantly hoppy, moderate citrus character and light resin. Flavour is pleasantly bitter, bit of citrus. Average plus to medium bodied palate, modest carbonation. Enjoyable but Iíd like more citrus and depth to the hops personally. Bottle from the brewery, Toronto

500 ml bottle. Clearish brew with a coppery colour and white head that laces well. The hoppy aroma dominates this brew with pineapple and some pine cones and some fruit loops roll ups kinda hoppy notes. One the palate those hoppy bitter pine cone flavours come through and the finish is slightly resinous, though iíve had sweeter IIPAís. Overall this is a great brew but I have had better IIPAís from the brewery.

Golden pour with a thin head. The aroma is quite hoppy and fruity. A bit of pine and some tropical fruit. Sticky sweet pale malt but it isnít cloying. Lightly resinous with a bit of pineapple and orange. Pretty solid IIPA.

500ml bottle bottled Dec 18, 2013. Pours a clear copper/amber with a frothy, one finger, off-white head that leaves big rows of lacing. Aroma has big notes of mango and tropical fruits mixed with a slight pine and resin. Really nice. Taste is a solid bitter with a slight bready/caramel malt backbone to balance it out. Notes of pine, resin, and slight herbal notes with a drawn out aftertaste. Slight alcohol taste and warmth. Medium-full body with a medium carbonation. Full in the mouth with a mildly syrupy/resiny texture. A good amount of carbonation to keep it from being flat or bogging down. Overall this is a great IIPA. I canít say anything bad about this beer. Simply awesome!
